Not sure if this is the right thread, but I just wanted to share it.
I have recreated from scratch in Blender the classic Grid/Training stage and uploaded it on Sketchfab. It’s freely downloadable.
@Smashbro29 - Thanks, that’s appreciated. I honestly don’t have much hope about Capcom improving this part of the UI anytime soon… That said, even with the mere costume1/color1 portraits the mod really makes things easier to read - I’d encourage anyone to try it !
@Smashbro29 That’s odd - my suggestion would be to make sure that you have everything setup properly with the mod manager before attempting to install that particular mod. Check if the Chun/Mika mod works properly, and then move on to the UI mod.
If that still doesn’t work that would mean that something is off with the way I setup the zip and we’ll have to investigate. And if anything there is always the manual install, which is working for certain as I’ve had users reporting that they managed to do it. Good luck and don’t hesitate to report back !
Can someone please fix the bad dark shading on Bison’s lower half under the skirt? It should match the top half like his artwork and pre-order alt costume. I would really appreciate it so we can show Crapcom how to do it.
Just think… CAPCOM couldve made long term revenue by making SFV free to play and allowing the community to benefit from sharing profit with CAPCOM via mods… instead people just do it for free. Oh well ^^
Color edits, 1.5 hours since I kept changing colors. The colors you pick most of the time will change when you view them in-game.
Quick tip if you do happen to make your own edits. Have the color edit program open while SFV is running. Go to training mode, pick the character and color you are editting. While the character is in the training stage, make your edits in the program.
When you’re ready. Go back to the character select screen. You should see the edits you made. If you don’t like something, go back into the training stage. Go back to the program and make your tweaks. Rinse repeat.
At first I didn’t know this, and I was closing the game every time I made an edit >_>
you don’t even have to deal with that. just use the mod manager. only have to make sure that the mods are delivered with the correct directory structure.
