Itā€™s called SRK2 but I do have plans for something other than an SRK clone. Iā€™ve just been pretty busy lately. =)

As it is I expect it to slowly turn into its own thing. In the future Iā€™d like to try to make it the hub for a little tournament series or something.

Then again as it is now SRK isnā€™t exactly a focused ā€˜thingā€™ either. Itā€™s a couple of active threads sitting on a lot of legacy.

Letā€™s all just get along mmk? =)

Overwatch is fun, I can blame five other people when I lose.

Edit: Thatā€™s a nice costume/colour for Sakura. Thinking of buying that overpriced bundle of textures.

So Uryu never anti-airs either. I find her AA abilities seriously lacking. cr.HP is so slow that you need to anticipate the jump and EX DP only reaches jumps from afar. Trigger II DP is a strong AA but you wonā€™t have access to that for most of the match.

I like this build-up reveal. As a character, I hope falke has good walk speed and a certain degree of bullshit. Like sakura but with barbed wire boxing gloves

Damn, I guess I will be hitting the lab to get that down to a science tonight. It gives me KD and a follow up to two buttons I have been using a lot.

I actually just want a character that mechanically plays like Decapre. Decapre, despite her terrible reveal, was a very fun and engaging character mechanically (probably the most fun I had in that series after vanilla SF4). A charge character done right. So I am hoping Falke can capture the spirit of what made Decapre play well.

Lore-wise, Decapre will likely be retired much like Seth, so bringing in Falke seems timely. Even though I purchased all the season passes, I havenā€™t had a character that genuinely interested me since Urien.

i dont wanted to diss you and i know it wasnā€™t intended as a clone back then but as of now it is because this one is still here. thats why i made the suggestions above. i might not like some directions you go design wise but i appreciate the effort you put into it and i hope you can make something new and unique out of it. a name change would help along other things. i wish you good luck with it and maybe i will join in the future when it reached a point where it catches my interest. same goes for sure for other people.

Dunno, since Zeku Capcom seems more than aware about giving new characters certified BS, the lasts three all look really honest to me. They can prevent players from finding BS, but Capcom will ā€˜fixā€™ everything that look broken to them. Then we have Akuma.

Just ask Tokido or Daigo to pick up Zeku and he will be buffed to heaven in no time, Guile and Akuma have been some major bullshit since s2 and yet the one who get nerfed is Birdie

8 frames is fast enough. With Ibuki Iā€™m regularly using 9 and 10 frame normals to AA and neither of them have 5 active frames like Sakā€™s c.HP. The issue more was that Gachikun only jumped maybe like 6 times the entire video and only jumped forward maybe like 3 of those times. Gachikun was purposely trying to empty jump forward at her which empty jumps make even good AAā€™s tough to use as they are meant to bait whiffed AA buttons. Otherwise he mostly stayed to the ground and only really tried to jump if he saw a fireball or figured Uryo was going for a grounded poke at a range he could jump on.

On top of what you said, VT2 is a waste of meter for AA since itā€™ll knock them back too far for any real oki and itā€™s killing your damage dump. If anything knowing theyā€™ll get AAā€™d if they jump is better than actually using it since the reward generally isnā€™t worth it. Either way still tough to use vs anyone with a dive or anyone that can change air trajectory and not something you wanna bank meter burn on vs those characters. Especially since youā€™ll surely take a CC on a whiff.

Between her c.HP, b+HP and air throw thatā€™s plenty enough take care of most obvious jumps. She doesnā€™t have a blind spot in the middle of forward jump space like Chun Li does. If they jump forward in an obvious spot c.HP will take care of most stuff and has a back hit box to hit close and cross up jumps also. LP DP also isnā€™t bad for closer jumps and dives and is 4 frame start up. With her strong walk you can also just walk in and out of certain jumps any way.

Funny enough Uryo was actually jumping way more than Gachikun. Which makes sense because Sakuraā€™s j.HK is easily one of the strongest jumps in the game. If you throw a grounded poke when she goes for it youā€™re going to get hit and if you somehow recover in time you have to block. Very dangerous with her walk speed since you can enforce the range where they have to deal with it very easily.

After work Iā€™m gonna switch on USF4. I didnā€™t do it since SFV was live, but Iā€™m curious about the feeling with the AA there. Even Makoto Fukiage was 7f like Zeku dp, but reacting to jump ins was easier back then. Tbh I know already whatā€™s changed, but whatever.

Actually I donā€™t know what has changed. I could AA with Roseā€™s U1 in SFIV and I have no idea how many million frames of startup that thing has. But Sakuraā€™s 8 frame normal in SFV for some reason seems too slow.

Light DP is a good idea though, going to try its ranges as an AA next time I play.
