I got no problem with people gettin hype but if you are shouting and screaming a few feet from another player who is actively in a tournament game you deserve to be skinned alive.

Caba did it even during Mena vs CJTruth match and was roasted right after by the latter and his mom. I woulda smacked my stick on his frog face

I didnât see him crying like he did at Evo last year, the tournament was stacked, everyone is a killer. Playing against Abigail leads to frustration mostly because you know you can die after just one error. Punk is almost shafted this year, until he finds a solution, as I said time ago Karin and Chun arenât enough in AE. His Karin is still amazing, but everyone and their moms knows already how he play. Then he has a clear issue against characters with long buttons and big damage (Abi and Birdie) and thatâs his fault not adapting at them. The easiest route would be jumping on the top tier train like others did, but if you donât have fun using them, how much you can feel involved in put some time in learning these characters? Being a sponsored player means you canât jump off the ship that easily without giving up all the good things from getting a sponsorship. Itâs tough,but if everything stays as it is Punk need a TT secondary at least.

I agree 100%. With sponsorships and big money on the line I think the next tournaments will become a close affair between these characters.
Jiyuna needs to up his translation power level. Putting words in GO1âs mouth.
Cammy seemed like good choice vs Infiltration. Similar to vs Dhalsim, Cammy has lots of tools that can reaction punish whiffed things from Menat and can just knock her out of jumps and sim drills with DPs very easily. The dive kicks come from angles that are tough for her to AA consistently and Cammyâs V Reversal is great for moving her out of the way if she gets pressured by Menatâs V Reversal. Without other attack based V Reversals if you dont time it to hit Menat then youâre forced into negative situation with Menat and the balls right up in your face.
Ibuki should be in the list of characters that you can use/sub to win an event. Fujimura and Xian still doing pretty well with them and only really losing to players that would beat them regardless of character. Especially with there still being a good amount of tech to put together with Ibuki in the new season.
Add Urien and Birdie to that list also. You know Urien is still good when some guy named Chukwud is taking out big time players. Only really tough match I think Urien has is vs Guile, but still very winnable due to how he works and his damage/corner carry on landed stuff.

There is such a thing as common sense Mena. If your homeboy starts screaming his ass off, maybe tell him to tone it down yourself and donât make the other player have to do it.

The real problem is nobody stepped up except momma truth. Social media warriors go HAM all day and say all kinds of shit, but canât speak up when someone is yelling off their lungs IRL.
People can kill the phone screen and the keyboard, but just turn into drones IRL.

I find it concerning that the comments section of EH is thriving with interactions and responses to Norcal but this place is a ghosttown.

GO1 tried to notify him in-between matches and gave the signal to âlowerâ something down. It was mostly laughed off though by the people there.
It was really hard for CJTruth though, CABA really came through at the end of the set⌠hard to tell him off by then.
MvC events/arcade situations been through this, but itâs just weird for a major with what things are in the line and such⌠and I guess to include that it sounded annoying rather than it sounded hype. Sounded like a hyena undergoing estrogen fluctuations or something.
Some people with tunnel-vision style perspectives wonât do well in the long run here anyways (source: EH comments)⌠we have our hope with the forums.

Iâm sure we never had eventhubs level of commenting regardless. Comment section is also more like SRK front page. Thereâs a central topic and people just go HAM with their 2 cents. Much easier than a forum where you have to be more part of an in crowd of people who regularly discuss a lot of things. Itâs more akin to a twitch chat or youtube comment section.
Plus because of the SRK death and resurrection, the community is split between 2 other forms of media. SRK wonât be the same anymore, but thatâs nothing new. Canât expect people to be bothered with something thatâs currently a reject version of something already niche to discuss topics on.
Yeah the only part that was really loud on video was the last like 2 rounds where he went into DIABLO mode LOL. Caba just conveniently turned it up at a point where itâd be really tough to stop playing and say anything. Either way if it was really that bad from the beginning there should have been more than probably the tiniest Japanese person around trying to tell him to calm down.
Either way, itâs on social media now so Caba will have hawk eyes laid on him at any other event he goes to
