TBF the opponent needs to be a bit inside of the middle of the screen to get all of that to come close to working, but juggle into meaty setup is solid.
It is kinda fake though because anyone with an EX DP can just react and EX DP the V Skill. Only can truly trap non EX DP characters without super. Although probably still solid meaties you get just off the df+HK juggle. Didn’t realize df+HK had that much juggle potential
Yeah I guess against EX DP characters you can just activate off the df+HK and get a similar scenario.
It’s definitely still a very good scenario especially since it is a tight visual to look for to EX DP the V Skill. Plus doing df+HK straight into VTC puts them in air flip reset where you have plenty advantage and similar scenario any way. Not like the V Skill adds much other than damage since you already will have trigger.
I liked what I saw from Chris T player wise. Good reactions and used VT2 to punish certain normals whiffs and flash kick fireballs from Guile’s VT2. Guile still looks like the rough stuff for Ken but he got the corner enough times and Ken can beat anyone once he gets corner.
Liked the Gief v Falke matches. Didn’t seem one-sided as I imagined. His vskill having long active frames + disjoint means he’ll suck her in from downtown all day if she even considers a button. Sad I didn’t get to see the result of his Counter attempt.
Lovely stuff. That MU sucks a lot for Gief and will suck even more as people start to figure out Falke better in the following weeks.
