I would drink to that, but I already had a shot and half of rum.
We from 1980 rule!

Asgard was filler until they released Soul of Gold and made Asgard arc canon.

Never thought I’d see them all together like this :sob:

And there is Lost Canvas. The fact that they never finished the OAVs for Lost Canvas is criminal. :frowning:
Pisces Albafica was everything to me. :sob:

oh my god WHERE WERE THE PARENTS

Vampire Hunter D blew my mind back then with gore nudity blood swearing, but still had a hero who was a hero: morals and manners both. I watched more anime after that but nothing else had the impression that one did.

Still on the anime topic, the first anime I ever watched was Don Dracula in 1985 when my parents bought their first VHS player. :frowning:
I am old. And Osamu Tezuka was to blame for my introduction to anime.

PS. Princess Knight (Ribbon no Kishi) rules.

Depends. If you start out dealing with them all the time, its the same as her dealing with whatever you’re into. Videogames or foot porn or whatever. Its part of the deal.

She could grow away from them over time. Emphasis on “could”. No guarantee there. But its basically shit you are signing up for

@Evil_Canadian even Sp00ky is doing reaction videos. You are losing money and won’t be able to put Max down!

Yeah, break up or get divorced.:drum:

Broadly it is a package deal. If your SO is close with her family then to some degree you kinda need to be too. Trying to change that facet of her life would lead to a lot more bad than good in most situations.

Like with my (ex-ish) wife she was pretty close to her parents and her sister. I had/have zero in common with them but they were gonna be in the picture in some ways regardless so I just tried to find common ground and enjoy the time as best I could. Did that with her slightly creepy cousins too.

George Carlin had the right idea: date an orphan.

His parents were always a bit weird. Plus nobody had seen fucked up cartoons in the 80s. They probably didn’t even know.

Vampire Hunter D to this day is probably my all time favourite. I was just pondering this morning wether bloodlust was actually better. Crazy good the both of them.

I think the art in Bloodlust is out of this world (har) but the story of that one is a bit dumber. The original Vampire Hunter D has this perfect “of its age quality” for me that always ends up giving it the edge.

Both are tops though.

I’ve seen that guy play against MDZ Jimmy who is pretty popular SFV streamer. He can legit AA DP and he proved it by not falling for Jimmy’s attempts to bait it. Jimmy and the whole chat was mind blown lol.

Is he completely blind or only partially? Either way he’s a hell of a inspiration for anyone trying to get better.

I believe he’s completely blind.

I played him a good while back. When I had knocked him in the corner and went for a cross-up, he AA’d me pretty cleanly. A few times at that. I was honestly amazed at how well-timed a lot of his stuff was. Dude is awesome.

Agreed with GtT. Bloodlust had better art, but the original had better story, characters.

Oh I understand that, actually. My parents once rented a random kids movie about cute bunnies for me.

It was Watership Down.

Just mute the TV and its a 10-0 match up for him

:slightly_smiling_face:

I can kinda understand it. SFV has a ton of sound cues that he probably uses very well.

Although, I do wonder the degree it goes. Like he can tell if the opponent is standing or crouching 'cause there are distinct noises that occur when that happens, you can hear characters stepping as they walk, and of course hear the jumping (and that’s before the obvious auditory stuff). And due to where he’s hearing the opponent hitting/blocking from where he moved he can tell where he is, and tell what move he got hit by/the opponent got hit by to tell how far the opponent went (pretty much every special move with a different version per strength has different lines). A lot of very impressive spacial knowledge just based on sound and muscle memory. Plus I believe SFV uses sound based on location so he may even be using that to determine spacing if he’s wearing headphones.

It makes me curious where the limitations start coming in. Like the jumping in the corner example…I believe the noise for jumping is identical from forward, neutral, and backjump…like if you did a backjump would he still go for an anti-air DP 'cause it sounded like a cross-up attempt? Would be interesting if there was a distinct enough cue for him to tell.

Regardless, really happy that SFV has enough of those details that allow him to compete.

So, this girl that go to school with me, which is a known party slut single mother (nothing against single mothers, but most of them just pop a kid or two and just keep living like the kids never happened), just told me she doesn’t “go out”, just so I can’t ask her out, I’m assuming.
I think I’m tired of being ugly, or at least fat. But I literally have no time for hitting the gym. Should I try a keto diet?

Keto works 100%. Mate did it and lost about 25kg.

Trick I think is to replace carb versions with keto versions. For example you get Keto noodles.

As with all diets though , might cost you a little more $$$

I will add that keto diet works, and fast. I know people who have done it and the results are amazing.
