To sum it up:

Samurai Shodown comes out on Jjne 27th on PS4 and Xbox One. Switch and PC are scheduled for Winter.

16 is the base roster. Thirteen returning along with three new characters.

New characters are Darli Dagger, pirate looking chick with the sawtooth sword. Wu-Ruixiang, Chinese girl wielding a gong and can summon a dragon(?). And Yashamaru, a white haired ninja who looks to be a focus giving the new trailer.

Deluxe edition has been confirmed, low poly models for Haohmaru and Nakoruru are DLC.

They are planning an SNK World Championship with this game and KOFXIV.

There will be a collab with SS and the KOF mobile game.

And now they’re showing gameplay.

Edit: God DAMN this game is dope AF. Sped up movement looks like it feels great. Still about landing those single powerful hits, but the walking seems better. All of the IP parts of this game are too lit, from the music to the effects in combat. Gonna have to budget this hype in.

GGs. I feel like I’m playing the matchups better. But my timing on everything is just a bit off.

So much of this game comes down to one or two frames, its really kind of frustrating.
