Dealing with Alex is just reigning in his flailing. He’s mad negative on shit, no oki, no 3 frame, no reversal and even his dash is on the slower side at 19 frames. He’s the epitome of online play. Once you get good dealing with rando shit, you naturally get better at shitting on Alex.

Matt is pretty legit. He’s usually the one that makes those character introduction vids the moment a new character is released. I think CoJ is just being extra tight-lipped with info nowadays for whatever reason. He’s most likely playing the new characters right in the Capcom office.

He has oki now, EX Knee gives him dash mix midscreen, but he only threatens a cr.lk to beat backdashes. St.mp causes air flips. So you just backdash all day, force him to do dash - f.hp to beat your non-committal defence option.

Like I’ve said. If you don’t know when exactly you can announce something, it’s better not to announce anything at all.
S1 was plagued with them making dates and promises for things that weren’t going to happen anytime soon and they got way more flack for it. Silence sucks, but at least silence isn’t inherently a fault compared to misinformation/lying about release times for content. Capcom knows they can’t have a consistent schedule, but have learned that the best way to deal with it in their situation is just to not say until it can be said.

Good oki on BnBs is reserved only for Karin, Cammy, Ibuki, Rashid and Akuma.
Lot of other characters can’t land mids as a first frame meaty from their BnBs to avoid air resets.
Yaaas combo into Raida, real meaty which combos back into Raida. Guess again nigga spin that wheel.
