Punk at least reached Tokido level of strength in SFV, the latter really fought for his life. He dodged the bullet this time, Punk pushed him over his limits, the last match was played only nerves for both of them. When 2 players are equal, then the better character wins most of the time, that’s ok.

I feel like Karin wins that matchup tho,punk started noticing tokido was gonna keep taking throws because he was so scared of that St.HP

They’re easy, just parry everything and don’t get hit.
Akuma still has red fireball chip out setups that cant be v reversaled. Has some very damaging ones in VT2
Capcom missed a chance to put the cherry on top after a GF like that, but the quality of the Top 8 was high to the point no one will be upset for a no reveal again.

Could have been the opposite easily, Punk resetted the bracket just to lose at the very end. He knows I had a better to win, so he let the win to Tokido this time, a real loyal nigga.
