I think SFVs animation and graphics overall definitely look better than SFIV (as they damn well should, IV is a last-gen game), so I’m not biased; I have no problem admitting that V is better in some (very few) areas than IV.
But are you seriously suggesting that IVs combo system isn’t far more sophisticated/expansive than Vs? Because if you do, you suffer from a serious case of reverse-tinted nostalgia glasses.
What made you think that?

Since you were replying to HF, I assumed you were comparing IVs combo system to Vs, and implying that the latter’s is superior or at least equal to the former’s. If that wasn’t the case, never mind me.
Ah well nah my argument was never about which was more complicated or expressive. My argument was more so that I dont care.
There was a time when c.mp soul spiral was a good enough combo and SFV kinda goes back to that. Weve seen a million combo videogames and seen enough people labbing combos all day in training mode that dont work on their actual gameplay

Samurai Shodown might be the hypest I’ve been for a game I don’t know anything about. That game just oozes style in everything and everything looks like it hurts. Can’t wait to get my ass kicked in it.
