G’s CA always reminded me of Mag’ shockwave. The main difference is the super will give you full damage regardless of what part of the screen you’re on.

I actually think G does win the matchup. Gief can never jump against him and basically has to inch forward even slower than normal to avoid getting clipped at the ankles constantly. G can honestly go full nutbag against Gief with very little consequences and Gief cannot defend against any sort of VT1 assault.
