See what happened when old man Pert decided to spend some time in Ranked? He got to Diamond fairly quickly. There’s no way in hell you can’t get to Diamond if you take the time to consistently play it.

You underestimate how bad I am at ranked XP
Played it for like a week and stayed at almost the exact same point value by the end of it (I think I was only like +30 from where I started at best)
I can’t get a handle on how differently people play or how to adapt properly. Like I played DevilJin’s Ibuki for hours at Combo Breaker before my pool and won more of the games, but got bodied by an Ibuki even though he was around DevilJin’s level. I don’t know what’s wrong with me.
(Not just a SFV problem either I have the same issue in Smash)

I have noticed when I’ve watched you play other players, you tend to start off a set scared, almost like you are afraid they are going to do… “something” you can’t handle.
After you settle in, that fear fades and you kick much ass.
Playing more fandoms and ranked will get you more used to that, because in a tournament/ranked setting you can’t afford to lose to many games for “information”.
