It’s not apple to apples, but during plenty of sf5 releases. Other titles would also announce things that weekend or the day of.
And the fact that its happen so much that I recognize it, makes it hard for me to believe these are coincidences

I like her default. It’s basically what Ed’s should have been. Unique but not as loud and asymmetrical. Soon as I saw her Bengus artwork chilling with the gorilla and the ninja guy I already liked her basic appearance. Turquoise lipstick is fun too.
It looks better on her, but the fact that he came before her really detracted from her design (her storyline too) as just being the female equivalent basically.

That would be real dumb, MK drives massive sales and people are gonna be heavily focused on that. Any DLC announcement will get swept under super easily. We just had a huge FG draught last few months, would be weirdest time to show things.
