Relax guys, the code has already been claimed . Basically, Granblue Fantasy is a very successful mobile RPG game that has spanned a lot of merchandise. Even Capcom jumped in on the Grandblue wagon. Now they are making a fighting game.

I was looking into that Granblue thing because I like the artstyle.

I’ve seen that there are “technical commands” (that is, proper motion and charge commands) for special moves, but what worries me now is that cooldown thing.

Please, tell me I’m not supposed to be able to use my specials once and then wait for a fucking cooldown before doing them again.

There is a cooldown. The way it works is you can choose to input specials manually or use the simplified button press. The cooldown for doing the motion is much quicker.

I’ll have to check out how shorter the cooldown gets then.

I’m concerned about the simple inputs not being a special mode that you can just deactivate and Charlotta being a charge character though. I see shades of 3DS “walk forward Sonic Boom” Guile here.

The cooldown for the ez specials will be much longer, so it actually not only balances out, but it also makes for some interesting decision making.

Take the extra cooldown or charge it up so you can use your special again early seems like a cool option.

If you wanna have an idea of what the game looks like in action, you can watch that Daigo vs Fuudo set.
I’ll admit I didn’t care at all before watching it, but now I’m interested in how they’re actively breaking the mold with this one and how it’ll pan out.
