SFV Lounge: No News after the grass, 10K POWERRRRRRR

Akhos will be playing soon! Hopefully on stream!
Beat JWong. You can do it!

I can’t speak for BBTag specifically but Arksys netcode is usually solid. It’s still a delay based solution, but it’s a good one.

If you’ve been playing MK11 though… other netcode is going to feel crummy.

Better than SFVs

Not that it’s very difficult to have a better Netcode than SFV.

What is this game? Where are my X-men and why hasn’t anyone picked Goku yet?

Gustavo not taking shit from Abigail.

You could say that these matches between Strider and StormKubo are… GGs.

Stormkubo can’t out G a man with that letter in his name.

So random ass shit happened yesterday. I left my badge at the hotel and got DQd into losers. I got a bye because another guy i was gonna fight got DQd. Then had to immediately fight Trashbox after Joser beat him. Lost 0 2 but almost had him the second match. Played real rusty and forgot his VT2 does a million damage. If I played better I would have had him. He looked sad as hell after Joser beat him and was probably weirded out he had to fight another Falke immediately after. I shook his hand and everything after and he seemed to be winning since then.

@Akhos should be playing in about 30 minutes. Hes in pool with Mhike and Justin Wong

The Foehammer hit box JoseR was using in tournament. No motion character with no stick

He lost later on to Bison player no surprise. Won the first match with VT2 Falke, of course didnt get to activate VT2 in the second match and lost and then switched to VT1 and lost again. Just not a good match.

He got this and will crush JWong on stream, I am sure!

Nope, I dipped at the perfect time (basically right before they released Alex). SFV Ibuki is nothing like SF4 Ibuki, and the training mode nonsense is not my playstyle. I always play simple high execution characters who can always win, no matter the situation/matchup, as long as their execution is good enough. That’s why I played Ibuki in SF4, Widowmaker in Overwatch, etc. I just want to win with vortex and 300-400 damage combos, or click 6 heads in a row and win team fights.

This is not even going into the mess that is SFV footsies and mechanics… but I’m sure that discussion has been beaten to death in the past.

J Wong happening off stream now. I’ll record it

I remember you from SF4 days. Yeah, there isn’t anything like SF4 Ibuki in 5. High execution in V is basically one hit confirming and Menat’s VT1.

Hopefully SF6 is more up your alley.

Akhos will kick JWong’s butt silly!

So basically you go around being a fraud until you get a hit and then you hope the game has ToDs?

What the fuck am I even reading here?

Welcome to the World of Ibuki doesn’t randomly win through sheer execution so I guess he won’t be touching this game either 3.

Akhos lost 0 2 but kept the rounds close. He actually frame traps and pressures now so he has potential with his solid reactions.

Gief mirror with Mhike and Slaynman going on now
