Fosters!? Aussies hate Fosters. It is like their version of PBR.
Bought a 360 with SFIV and Dark Souls at the end of 2011. Figured I could probably get good at this FG stuff after getting really good at RTSes (but burning out on the genre).

I only started playing competitively in like 2012. I hadn’t taken any games seriously prior, just messed about with shooters with friends. Took me approx 5 years to become “FG” smart and understand how they tick, and able to apply adjustments and mentor myself.

I started playing fighters when mk x came out. That was my first fighter. Started really liking the genre and decided to give other fighters a try. I stayed away from sfv when it came out but definitely knew that was the biggest franchise in the fgc so I kinda started watching tournament vids on YouTube (I didn’t even know about twitch).
Took him long enough.

My “realistic” and salty and wishful SF6 hopes btw :
- fuck off Crush Counters
- all the current top tiers in SFV to be garbage tier or not in the game
- all forward moving specials to be unsafe
- be on PC , PS5 and Xbox and allow cross play
- summer costumes for the guys
- Fang never to be added ever again
- separate ranks depending on your character,don’t tie all my points to a single character
- free camera mode and a 3D model viewer allowing me to zoom in and slow mo or stop certain attacks for epic screenshots
- keep and continue to improve the CFN,it’s pretty ok
- allow me to change character on rematch
- get rid of the art style used in the SFV character cutscenes
- delete whoever voiced the little girl in SFV shop
- add mini games back like car crush, barrel destruction and brick chopping

Poongko streams SF4 a lot. He never really got into SFV imo.We shall see in 6.

I started with Xbox Live back in 2005, getting put in the trash can in CvS2/ST/3S/#R. Weirdly enough playing in laggy conditions helped steel my resolve for when offline competitions finally started happening again locally.
I remember going 8-8 in a set with this one SS ranked dude online and telling one of my local 3S buddies about it after he introduced me to a friend that also was interested in the game.
Turns out the friend was the SS ranked guy. Oops.
