I am a hitbox player.
Started on Pad - switched to keyboard - switched back to pad - now i use hitbox. Will never look back, it’s just great.

Hitbox is cursed. You can have all the advantages, but what does it amount to if you don’t win anything?

Unironically speaking Falke’s default is better than Ed imo
Better color balance (Ed has like 8 color units its crazy, I think the Falke blue is more appealing Ed than turquoise), no sideways tilted hat (really that still bugs me about Ed). The hair style looks more natural on her, etc
Not like it’s saying much considering it’s Ed’s default we are talking about, but still. I wish she wasnt aligned with Ed so she couldn’t suffer from the neo shadaloo fashion sense lol
Also I feel like Falke’s story costume is her most underrated one.

What are the advantages of hitbox?
I just find it faster to do motion moves since i just let go of buttons rather then moving stick.
It just feels more comfortable for me.

Faster/cleaner inputs and depending on the game you’re able to do things pad and stick can’t do.
Hit box is just dyslexic for me so I’d never be able to get into it. As an arcade stick user, pressing down on your stick to jump up just doesn’t make much sense for me. Still better than pad though.

You can use a keyboard if you want to emulate a hitbox and change your buttons as you want.
I know it sounds funny but keyboard is insane for fighting games when configured properly.

One Falke I know plays on keyboard and there was the picture of that guy who plays his pad upside down. Since she’s basically a smash input character (minus super) you can play her on whatever basically.
If you ever wanna try keyboard out of curiosity get one that has N-Key rollover , basically anti-ghosting support.
If your keyboard has ghosting, it won’t register the input from multiple keys at a time.So,moves won’t come out.

I’m Sanwa/Hori stick 4LYFE, but nice for those that are curious.
My friend who casually plays fighters basically decided to just let me keep his HRAP4 at my house so I got 2 sticks again. Now I can play with my brother without having to do legacy controller crap (which only works for V any way).

Hori has good products,they are massive though.
Heavy,chunky.But then again that’s a good thing.
I like the HRAP4s because they are heavy enough to be sturdy, but small enough to fit in your lap easily. They don’t take up huge amounts of space like the TE2s and Qanba Obsidian stuff do. They’re perfect for me.
Although if I end up getting rich or sponsored I’ll definitely get a Victrix since I hear they’re pretty light despite how sturdy they are.

They changed it to Gold, cause shitbrown wasn’t appealing if you want to sell costumes.
