One thing i want Capcom to learn from NRS is character customization and unique dialogues and events.
I like how in MK there are multiple intros for all characters, multiple dialogue options depending on who is facing who , i like the fact that the characters have stance changes and so on.
What ever happend to stuff like this ?
It needs to return for all characters in SF6,add that extra lil something the game needs and makes it stand apart.
90% of the cast in BB has dialoges and unique intros.
Yet Capcom should learn from NRS, cause the characters talk shit to each other.
Capcom doesn’t give a fuck, get that in your head and buy the new costumes they pump out!
Edit. Majority of the cast in GG also has unique dialoges towards each other.
On top of unique dialoges/reactions to specific moves, especially Insta Kills.
Heck every char has 3 reactions to Heavy Potbusters and thats just ONE MOVE!
But surely NRS is the one to learn from.
Even though I hate BB, I really liked the character intros and dialogue in it too. Whoever the fuck ever at Capcom decided to remove them should be stoned.
Frost is angsty, angry and thirsting for power. She traded in her body and wants to show she’s stronger than sub and lead the cyber Lin Kuei. Think the Robo body fits perfectly.
Yeah from my limited knowledge of MK frost seems like that power hungry former student who is desperate as fuck to show up her old master once she levels up.
Can someone tell me about Fatal Blows? I’m not 100% clear on it and its probably the only thing preventing me from buying. I don’t mean the textbook definition but how it usually plays out in a match or is it character defining like VT?
I didn’t know BB has unique intros depending on what characters are on the screen or i would had given it as a example as well.
NRS does a good job making characters feel unique in terms of visuals and dialogue though you can’t deny it.I would love a SF game with that amount of customization.
Fatal Blows are like supers and are the comeback mechanic. They’re the long animation things that used to be called x-rays in mkx.
The difference is that they are only available at low health.
They do big damage. They’re armored (not immediately). They’re fast. Its like an sf4 ultra in a way.
But it can only be used once per match if it hits. If its blocked it goes on cooldown for 10 seconds which is usually long enough to not see it again in that round.
They’re good but i wouldn’t call them character defining and its much less intrusive than a VT.
Fatal blow is like super you get when you’re dying. You only get to use once a match and it refunds if blocked or missed after a 10 second cooldown. Also got 1 hit of armor, but they all can be grabbed during startup. They’re pretty easy to bait, and you pretty much know when they’re coming. They’re also unsafe on block and you get a free combo.
Generally there isn’t much difference between them unless it’s frost or centrion cause they are full screen or Jax cause it’s startup is stupid fast.
