Some of the Best mids in the game, mostly safe canned 50/50’s, fantastic normals.
Also his fatal blow is dumb. As in, legit stupid. It’s so good you basically have to assume that you are going lose 33% in one round.

Tokido being happy with SFV is the most Captain Obvious thing I’ve heard today. I mean, his fav character is there, he’s top tier as always and you’re successful af, obviously he don’t want his honeymoon to finish. Good for him and for whoever thinks SFV is superfun, but what he said isn’t an uncontestable truth to me, especially when I can sniff the bias from here.

Listen, I would be all ears on what Tokido and every pro player would have to say about SFV or fighting games in general, but I don’t let them tell me what is fun and what’s not. Tokido has his reasons to say what he said, I respect it but I don’t agree with it.

When it comes to SFV, I feel like it’s one of those games where the overall feelings toward it can instantly change at times. You have the people who are generally consistent about it (like your tier list), but I’ve seen many others who hate the game with a passion one day and love it the next.
I’m always interested in what pros have to say, but admittedly, that’s where it stops. I know so many people who change their opinion based on what their fav player has to say and it’s weird to me.

Not even just that. It’s armored, so you can literally react to any twitch the opponent does from anywhere.
It’s very dumb.
My tactic is to just accept it and try to get it out of the way. If the round they take with fatal they also need to use their krushing blows, even better.

Akuma has been in literally every SF game outside of like 2 since Super Turbo. So saying “his favorite character is there” is a joke, it’d be like calling someone out because Ryu is in the game.
Tokido is also ALWAYS successful. When’s the last time he’s been ass at a game? It’s not like he’s some young punk who only got to go on a tear because of a very specific new game where fundamentals won’t carry over. It’s fucking Tokido.
They could cancel SFV and SFIV right now, go back to ALL the old school SF games and he’d still be beating everyone’s ass. Fuck you calling him out for bias because he’s doing well in SFV.

No idea if someone posted this already but I just visited eventhubs (yeah, yeah, move along) and it seems Samurai Shodown is already making profits thanks to its preorder numbers. Obviously that’s just theoretical at this point but unless a bunch of people cancel their preorder this is a pretty good sign.
I hope Darli is fun. Her sawblade with the multiple hitstops per swing is super satisfying to watch.

And in other news, SNK Heroines sold almost as many copies as DOA6. I’m not sure if that is funny or sad but damn me if it isn’t proof just how botched the release and marketing of DOA6 have been.
