So I was on a nice lil streak when I came across this Guile that I play pretty often. He plays on the plane stage, but I didn’t mind. Won the first game and he hit that rematch button with the quickness. He barely won game 2 and let the timer run down. So he ended my streak and bounced!
Old nerd reporting in.
Definitively a game heavily targeted at people like me.
I’m all in I am buying the deluxe edition (and I never buy deluxe editions) for PS4 if there is one, and I don’t own a PS4 I’m just gonna park the disk at my local and keep the goods for myself. Then I’ll buy the PC version.
Oh you dont even know the half of it. You could get ultras by doing random stupid motions and blockstun was tiny in that game. You’re literally trying to just get some basic pressure and suddenly eat 400 damage from some dude mashing online.
Something about the faces in MK11 have weird lips. Kitana kinda has duckface going on in the Story mode. Still do like the overall design though.
The new wave of freebie comeback mechanics definitely suck. I’m dealing with it because it is the way the winds of change are blowing but I still have salt moments over them.
Doubly so because they came around right when FG devs got into their “PS1 era JRPG” levels of cinematics for moves. Fatal Blows doing big chunks of damage and having these big long Knights of the Round animations ain’t great.
All that bitching aside I’m still gonna keep at SFV and start in on MK11 online this weekend. Take what you’re given.
Also just bought my Endgame ticket. Legit excited to see it which I wasn’t expecting in the lead up but the ads and positive buzz got me. I am a well rounded shill.
D’Vorah is hot.
People who disagree are just intimidated by a strong, independent single mother that can kick ass and kill Ed Boon’s favourite character in his own game.
And since we were talking about Samurai Shodown and I decided to shill for it I thought about linking this video that talks about SamSho mechanics in detail.
I don’t think this video was linked already here, right?
