SFV Lounge: No News after the grass, 10K POWERRRRRRR

how come you didn’t discover wave dashing first evil canadian?

Yeah that’s legit dumb. Lots of matches have SFIV style ultra fishing because of it. Just even worse because they basically are going to have it until it hits.

I don’t really care about comeback mechanics on their own. Samurai Shodown and Art of Fighting basically invented them so I don’t really have a problem with them on their own. It’s just when the options are “it’s going to hit or it’s going to hit” it just makes the strategy way more throw away than it needs to be.

Especially in MK11’s case where it puts you into a forced cinematic that’s always the same and lasts as long or longer than IV’s ultras. If there was at least some visual variety to the Fatal Blows it’d be less monotonous visually on top of how forced it is in the match. Combo Breakers in MK9/X were of similar problem. Just things that are YES it connects or YES it connects to happen in the match after a certain time passes.

Yeah I think I’m beginning to understand how frustrated some old men felt when IV introduced the ultra mechanic and comeback mechanics had more presence in FGs. This is prolly the next step, literally making them have no fucking commitment on block and deleting the resource management aspect.

It’s not a nice feeling :'c

Hmm even though the refund is shitty you only get one use the whole match. It evens out imo.

Super Turbo called to remind you that Super really is the OG comeback mechanic.

Idk that shit does like 40% raw and some have absolutely batshit properties tied to them.

In Samurai Shodown I’d be less worried about those meterless pseudo supers and more about Issen, which I think is the invincible, much faster super move that you get once you activate rage.

But if you fuck that up you don’t get a second chance to use it at all since Rage can only be activate once per set, right? Or did I got that wrong?

Yeah that move is really good too, I like it’s concept and I think it drains your meter when you use it. So it gets my seal of approval.

Don’t forget the armor!

y’all think SCVI’s CE’s slow down matches too much? Fatal Blows are utterly disgusting to deal with. Shit makes me want to watch Bardock’s level 3 on loop.

Uff ok, give them a point for that one.

Our PC Dev, Shini is constantly pushing for Crossplay with PS3/4
BBCF and GGxrd, as well as Uni have also PS3/4 play.

Rage is once per set, yes.
You spent it, you no longer have it for the next rounds of the match.

Like I said it’s def shitty. Look at Frost’s full screen fucking beam lmao.

Not true. People who actually fight with honor wouldn’t do it.

…just like how people with honor don’t play NRS games :3

Talking about everything but SFV lol. So SF6 when?

“Honor” WTF is this nonsense. He isn’t using a Game Genie. He is using the same tools as everyone else. Either git gud or accept your limited abilities.

Hope you’re missing the joke on purpose :stuck_out_tongue:

SamSho looks interesting, but probably something I wouldn’t spend time/money on it tbh. I’ve already tried multiple types of fg’s before, but I ended up in Capcom open arms every fuckin’ time. I’m too old now to give other games another chance, especially when all they’re trying to do is explaining why SF still rule the genre. I suggest youngsters to try them out and make some experience, just not me.

Unless I missed it. It was a roundabout way of saying Chris G has no honor because of his playstyle and because he plays NRS games.
