I’m sure the Brit, Jim Sterling is having a field day with the game.
Other than it being NRSy AF I think I’ll be fine with playing the game. Lack of HAM run makes it way better for me to get into than any past MK games. Plus decent netcode. Animations are still derpy, but that’s NRS’ charm at this point I guess.
Not to defend NRS again but those cucks are always like that. Virtual signaling to “gamers” because they think pointing out stupid shit makes them some kind of informed marytr for the community. I saw this shit everywhere when Capcom did the add thing for more FM.
Nothing else has real console to PC crossplay except for KI. Sucks because even though CFN makes it kinda rough, crossplay is a huge part of what makes the player base stable and easy to get to online.
SF6 is going to be on 5 platforms with a splitbase. Crossplay is a lucky luxury we likely wont get again
I don’t agree. There seems to be a push for crossplay between consoles period. Since everyone has to start from zero next gen, Sony won’t be able to sit on their huge lead as an excuse for no crossplay.
However just to be safe if you have any aspirations to play competitively offline you can’t make PC your only gaming platform. Shit like this MK PC release has been happening for a long time. Between bad releases and late releases it’s too much of a gamble to make it your only option if you play a lot of FGs.
Capcom will be pretty dumb to drop cross play for SF6.
Cross play is a trend among BR games and I don’t see Capcom just saying “screw it, no crossplay” when it helped SFV sell better and keep a steady player base to consume their DLCs.
Btw as a falke player and one who appreciates big ass buttons i think you’d get into it. Some characters can force neutral slowdown to an extreme. And there’s no ultra quick ground dashes or neutral skips into plus frames to ruin it.
If anyone here enjoys neutral heavy play and can deal with the NRS style i encourage you to try it.
Yeah I already plan on Skarlet and Cetrion. I already know they’ll fit what i want to do. NRS games give you easy mode zoning without much to threaten it. I prefer more SF or Marvel where there some real threat or effort to the zone to make it more gratifying but free zoning is fun too
Just throwing long stuff out until i win means less I have to learn about the game until Sam Sho hits
MK isn’t and will never be SamSho, so pass.
That stupid gore just makes it worse. I already dealt with blood 5 days every month for many years to want to see that much of it on a stupid video game.
Only way I will ever play an NRS game again is if they make a DC game that is like Shaolin Monks.
Or a new Shaolin Monks where the gore and violence is cartoon like.
Was busy playing it/watching endgame. I haven’t forgotten. I also wanted to put in a little training mode time before the write-up (Skarlet).
Short version. The game is good, but for every good thing, it feels like there’s a “but” to it. It’s still probably the best NRS game to date, for what that’s worth.
