Have you seen Ceroblast or Eita fam?
They blow up a top player here and there, but haven’t done anything note worthy. Don’t recall either mashing on tatsu.
Betting on lk tatsu ain’t a good thing and doesn’t make up for the lack of a 3 frame button.
Only people still praising SFIV are 09er like Highland.
Or people who wear Nostalgia googles and downtalk all the BS that game had.
In the end both are trash without a clear winner. They’re equaly terrible.
I disagree. No one, even people that like SFV, say it’s the best SF game. Now SFIV stans…
Sf4 is trash, but it has more freedom of expression and potential than sf5.
Sf5 feels very locked down and forced, it’s like going from an android to iPhone. It’s all streamlined and easy, there’s hard set rules of what you can and cant do.
Every iPhone user looks like a pro when handling there phones. With android phones most users never even really utilize the full potential of the phone.
Anyway as much as I hated vortex fighter 4, yolo 50/50 fighter 5 is just as bad in it’s own way.
The last year of the game’s life. Before that you were eating all of it.
Weaksauce defensw considering some characters could either react to it to the delayed wake up stuff or could do extra stuff to cover it anyways.
Shit, if wr had SF5’s training mode in 4, pretty sure delayed wake up would’ve gotten blown up harder
It’s 11 more frames, man.
Do the kof series games have better freedom of expression? Just asking.
I play kof at a very basic level so I’m curious.
Sfv is my first real 2d game experience. (I main tekken)
And I assume marvel allows great freedom of expression. Maybe Jin will know about this.
Yeah but that’s SF for you. They take the whole life of a game to get it mostly right. The 11f is just give the vortexer time to land so the blocker need only deal with usual pressure.
Good counter argument.
Why do you continue to ignore me?
It’s because you’re actually cancelling her Air Stomp into Air Lighting Legs rather than just holding the input into the jump.
Frost loosing to a Fang. Nice stream.
I didnt play sfiv anywhere near as much as sfv but I do think the game has a couple things going for it. Maybe it’s a mixture of nostalgia goggles and ignorance to what it was like at high level. But overall I still look back positively on 4.
Really u gonna ask that question when it comes to ken
Ive played enough KOF games before.
Juicebox explained it best in that once you learn a few characters you kind of got the idea of the rest of them. Once you learn your AAs for different small jumps and best combo routes and strings you can kinda do that for a lot of the cast. Theyre all going to be running and jumping any way.
If you like combos you can do a lot of stuff with the combos but the characters I feel you get the jist of playstyle wise pretty quickly especially with the universal run and roll stuff. You’ll get more execution heavy combos but the characters are only “expressive” to the point of diffeent button angles and combo routes for the most part. A lot of them do KOF stuff basically and move like KOF characters
The 3 frame people will bet on online sometimes. They have to know youre in range for it or else it will whiff but if they really need it they’ll do it.
The smartest way to use it is to use it during a trap that you know is weak to 3 frames. Like Ibuki s.mkx2. Plus since its a special move priority system gets booted in on top of being 3 frames. Which is why I like Ibukis LK kazekiri. 3 frame with special priority
That’s a 3f? I assumed the were all 5f lol.
Well ill be they are 3/4/5/4 i had no idea.
April Annihilation Top 8
The most bottom of the barrel.
