I would still play Ken over Ryu even after the latters buffs. Ryu’s buttons and offense are still pretty dogshit imo.
I’m with Vhozite on this one. I don’t think Ryu is how you want to be playing the game especially when Ken is right there being pretty much it on the nose.
What style of game do you like to play? You’ve always struck me as more of a rush down player. That isn’t Ryu’s game. His buffs help his zoning and seem to make him more a midrange fighter.

Kage’s ex dp is so filthy cheap in v trigger 2.
And executing instant air tatsu motion on pad is a nightmare.
Ryu’s used to have his overhead counter hit combo in s1, looks like they gave it to kage.
Character has such weird animations, even worse than s4 standard.
High damage but I don’t consider already having VT1 active to be meterless.
Harada sure knows when to step in, good decision, Toei cleared it’s name from the issue.

Bison AKA the alleged “Top Tier of S4” requires 2 full gauges to remotely come close to that kind of damage and is overall meter hungry as fuck.
Edit- No I am not saying Laura should be more like Bison or vice versa.

Plus you need to stand at an almost pixel perfect spot and get the timing to charge the fireball perfectly right. Also, semi-charged fireball mid-combo isn’t as easy as it looks.
It’s a great training mode combo, but not worth going for it in a match.
I’m not saying that things won’t change with Harada in charge, but all he said was that he was now in charge and that all three games would have plenty of official tournaments.
He not only didn’t give any explanation for what has been happening with DBFZ, he didn’t technically say that DBFZ wouldn’t continue to get pulled from random tournaments.
So. I turn off ads bonanza, but gotta wait the extra 10 seconds for the other player to collect his 4 cents of fight money.
Well that aside, this is definitely the most balanced season yet. I can’t believe they played favorite child with some goddamn characters for this damn long. Feels like taking in a breath of fresh air finally.
Kage costs 100.000 fight money, but it used to be 80, no? It’s all leaving a really sour after-taste. Thank you Ono-San and Sakura-Chan.

Yes he did not, but like I said he know when to step in and speak up.
Characters always costed 100k, I’m pretty sure of it.
