I am literally afraid of playing her. I am doing a ranked run with her right now and I can feel the despair set and after that comes the desperate PPP.
Not having my bnb lights into shot is messing me up hard. I know it is not there so I am playing far more aggressive than I should to try to cover that instead of trying to keep calm, collected and poke them with mk or hp and then shot them on block.
It will be a good while till I can feel comfortable with his new style. At least I have my safe haven Gief to rely on till that happens.

Somehow playing in a state of fear and anxiety is working out and I have a 9 win streak and I am 123 points away from ultra gold.

I’ve been learning to just start pressuring the opponent with the lights more. Especially once I have super since once you get close enough you can just do c.lk, c.lp pp super and that’ll do more damage than shot super did. C.lk, c.lp pp gives her a decent damage and stun bnb off lights with a knockdown that she didn’t really have before.
Otherwise from far range the lights are just for counter hit fishing since the shot will still combo off s.lk on counter hit. Otherwise s.mk shot is the new replacement for what lights into shot used to do. True string with spaced plus frames on block

The problem is that the muscle memory for c lk, c lp pp just isn’t there yet.
I tried to practise it a lot on training and survival, but come ranked and back I go to lp xx shot. My finger gets out of the mp button right away.
But I will figure this out. Or just move back fully to my husbando Gief. He understands me.
