On twitch that day it said it had 91K viewers, I remember because some dudes were making fun of how DBZ nec finals that were on at the same time had only 1K viewers.

Yeah, now that I think of it there were definitely some pictures of SFV peaking at 94k on Twitch during grand finals.
Exact prize pool was never revealed, but it was stated as near 400k. I think it was just a tad higher than last year. Gachikun still got 250k and everyone else still got paid as well so it was definitely more than just 250k.
As for viewers, I was looking during the first set of GF and I saw 92k for all combined Twitch streams. I know YouTube and OpenREC also had good size numbers as well. There wasn’t much of a drop off if at all. It’s just that the viewership is more spread out now instead of just being on one platform.

I can’t believe I blew up the chance of doing a 13 win streak with Gief by losing one match to a Karin in a set. 
It would be my personal best. So now I just tied with my previous meagre PB of 12 wins in a row with Gief.
With Falke, it is 16 wins, but that doesn’t count because I was smurfing to rank back up to gold on the PS4.
Winning streaks in ranked feels great, and i feel like, the bigger the streak goes, the more scared your opponents play, when i made the push from UD to master i had 23 Or 24 win streak, went through that 28000 to 29500 range very quickly.
till lost a game to that Italian zeku streamer guy, and despite winning the set, i was kinda salty
When your at that 7-10th winstreak things get pretty ugly. Players do tend to be afraid or mentaly imbalanced when playing against you.
You have Player kills your winstreak and doesnt give you a runback, or they give you a runback win against you again and teabag (because they know your upset). Or they just ragequit if they lose. Had a menat take my 7 winstreak last night and rage quit after i beat her back. My winstreaks never never die peacefuly.

Random online players tend to be huge dirtbags that way. My CPT wins grind tonight started off with 2-3 people who played one game then bounced. Classy fuckers.
