For me at best I see the OZ buffs bullying the short ranged characters a little better which is good. Like NCK said, expect Daigo to turn into Y.Zeku the instant he fights a dedicated zoner (O.Zeku not gonna out long range Bonchan Sagat). All of the Zekus I fight online switch to Y.Zeku immediately vs my Falke still.

Tooled around with Juri earlier and I see why some consider her bad. Character is super honest, and not in a good way.
Seems fun though.

She never got downplayed. People didn’t talk too much about her during Vanilla because other characters had easier access to damage but even if we never had gotten Super or AE or Ultra she would have become a top character later on. She was very strong across every iteration of that game right to the end.
she’s not even that bad, just outclassed by the upper part of the roster, all in all some of her bad mu got a little more bearable (apart from Karin, Urien and Dictator) and I don’t think the buffs to her favorable mu like Gief and Alex will make her perform that much worse against them nor she really care that much about Ryu’s fireball game being better
So how do chip into super kills work in sfv? For example my opponent has very little health, I’m akuma, but I know that just a blocked cr.mk~fb~súper won’t be enough to kill can I do a blocked cr.mk~fb~vtrigger~then cr.mk~fb~ into súper again to chip kill or can my opponent stop it by doing an ex move?
Off topic but I’ll never understand people who dont like quick cut/shaky cam in action films but praise the bourne movies even though they have that same parkinson style of editing shit… I guess I’m saying this because I just saw Headshot (same director of Night Comes for Us) and it was pretty good.

She is one of those characters that can look pretty good when someone does well with her but when you try her out things dont seem that way… kinda reminds me of G a bit
FlyingVe hit the mechanical part of it.
For Laura you get really good reward out of buffering MP Bolt into cr.HP at ranges where it will only hit if your opponent walks into it or gets CH. It’s one of her better buffer able buttons that way.
cr. MK buffered into LP bolt is another good one. Catches people walking and is safe on block (but beware the -2 situation against some chars and that cr. LK, cr. LP as a follow up won’t chain from max or near max range). You can do the same thing with cr.MP when you’re closer and trying to get CHs.
A common one you’ll see is st.LK buffered into LP bolt. This one can be really good as an interrupt, catching them moving into it, or as a check after things like a whiffed st.HK (you’d see Shakz and Idom do this a lot). The hard part is that you have to buffer it pretty fast because there aren’t a lot of frames in st.LK and if you fuck it up you’ll do raw LP Bolt after the st.LK. Very doable with practice though I never got it down all the way.
For whiff punishing it is important with Laura because it’s a really good way to get in since she has good “closer” specials if you can get the hits.
Her walk speed sucks so you aren’t going to force whiffs like you can with say Ken or Sakura. So you need to have a better sense of the ranges your opponent wants to attack from and try to preemptively move around them to get the whiffs. It’s like how Juicebox describes having to whiff punish with SFIV Makoto in this video:
Like with Laura you aren’t going to force the situation that often but you can against some players and in general it’s another good tool to have ready.

If all of that is a blockstring then yes. When going for a chip kill you have to make sure there’s not gap (to avoid them mashing an invincible reversal) and that V-Reversal is out of the question. If you do all that against, say, Rashid and he has one bar of V-Gauge he can just V-Reversal whatever attack you used before the CA and get out of there.
On the other hand if it’s Vega just do it and he dies.

For me it’s one of those things ill let slide if the rest of the movie is good, but if i think the movie is bad it tends to stick out to me. I don’t remember excess cuts during the action in the Bourne movies, but it’s been a long time since I’ve seen any of them.
Somewhat related, but i tried out Netflix for the first time on my own this week and I was sorely disappointed. The movie selection was trash and almost everything I specifically looked for wasn’t there. It didn’t cost me anything and the service itself was super convenient, so I’m not too upset. But everyone hypes it up like the best thing since sliced bread and I really don’t get it.

Netflix has MLP, Pokemon and Yugioh on there so it serves my purposes well
And since I’m super patient I can just wait for a movie I want to see to get on there instead of buying the Blu-ray/DVD, like pretty much every Marvel movie

Content varies from country to country but you should totally watch Stranger Things, Daredevil, Voltron and Castlevania before your trial runs out.

I have a list of movies that I want to see but haven’t so I was just looking for that stuff. I don’t remember everything I looked for (this was a few days ago), but I specifically remember looking for “Casino”, “Superbad”, and “47 Ronin” but all were absent. They did have the second “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” movie, which was cool, but I wanted to rewatch the original first and no dice.
I mean I could probably pirate any movie not there, but I’d prefer not to.
Edit: Also this is on my girls account so there is no need to rush because of a free trial. Also @Bea_Iank they didn’t even have “Mean Girls” smh.

Netflix used to be amazing but then they lost all their liscensing and now it’s mostly best if you want to watch their original programming and happen to like some other stuff that is on there. I personally get more mileage out of Amazon Prime video.
That said I still have Netflix because they have some hits on there for me.
