SFV Lounge: Menat BUFFED, F2P SFV coming, CCCC COMBO BREAKERS coming

Is Cody really good/solid now?
Character seems to hit almost all the sfv check marks…

Always feels like a mini accomplishment when you break someone’s streak who has a ton of wins stacked up. On the flip side I went on a huge losing streak to the bottom of gold and then proceeded to get a 16 or 17 win streak but when I finally lost the streak I can’t lie I was a little relieved lol. Now if I can get those streaks without the losing part.

I pick Ken as my training room dummy cuz that hot girl I was dating back then ran away to a guy who looks like Ken.

If it was SF3 Ken then I don’t blame her. That guy was hot af.

Ken players stay lagging smh. As soon as i start winning the connection gets bad lol

Two wifi Ryus in a row today. That was fun, except not.

What’s a good way to spice up the game when you start getting bored?

Switch characters and/or change costumes.

Actually had a homie who was blind and played Marvel. Dude would play Ironman, War Machine, BB Hood and just go ham doing projectiles and assists.

He hated Spiderman because he couldn’t see the left/right mix up after knockdown.

:joy: :joy: :joy:

Anybody wanna lounge?

I thought it was 52? But yeah I agree, it’s not good enough for zoning. He can’t keep up with better fireball characters up close and he’ll get destroyed by anti fireball moves even more easily than Akuma or Ken who have already have better fireballs.

I really don’t see Kage being much of a threat without some major buffs.I know others will say it’s too early. And that can be true for characters like Falke or Menat who brought something different to the table where it will take time to figure out. I really don’t think their is anything to figure out regarding the current Kage. He is what he is, a shoto without shoto zoning.

Just for this ill try out Bison next time I play because why not. At this point I have more fun learning and labbing new characters than I do playing the game.

Bias aside, Bison is a very satisfying pick to learn and play. He has style, history, swag, and impact. When you lose you only feel delayed, but when you win, it’s like you extinguished the very sun from the life of your opponent.

Savagely poetic.

Thats what I’ve been saying. He doesn’t lack anything outside of wake up ex move but that isn’t too important in this game

No he isn’t, he’s just dumb. You go into training mode to figure out how he works and then you walk away mad at Capcom over it.

Double post of awesome:

Dude has to be one of the most smothering characters in the game when he’s going right, alongside a lot of fuck playing neutral moves lol…

This was posted in the Story thread but I didn’t see it here.

Kira has an 83% chance of making of the wrong prediction. I really hope SRK will now think twice before following in Eventturds’ footsteps and giving him frontpage spotlight. @d3v

Problem X was already a pro player during the SF4 era, only Mena and Punk weren’t around at tournaments at the time. He was strong back then (Seth and Viper), but even without considering Tokido specifically he wasn’t a top 10 world player yet. I’m pretty sure he put some time to develop as a player, but definitely his speciality is taking the right decision most of the time. Both Tokido and Problem are incredible at reducing the risks at the minimum while they maximize the reward in every situation. Mine wasn’t a shot at Problem X at all, instead was a compliment because he evolved as a player and at the same time SFV itself gave him the opportunity to shine even more

He was also the first pro I’ve asked a photo at a SF4 tournament in France
