SFV is a beta so weird things will always happen. Momochi did a Cross Up CA with Karin probably some days ago :^) Birdie’s VT1 activation beating EXTK, Kage’s VT2 sometimes hitting but whiffing causing the opponent to stand (could be lag maybe)

But it still drives me crazy how they won’t fix Karin’s CA hitting in the corner no matter the juggle state

Bonchan will probably go Karin and Sagat for bad MUs, Karin isn’t much good into people like Gief who are decent again, so I do think we’ll see Sagat occasionally.

Karin is looking top 5 fairly easily right now though, so I imagine he’ll go with her.

It’ll be interesting to see whether Top 5 Karin puts Punk back into S2 Domination mode or if there will just be other challenges and people adapting to him still.

I bought one 5 months ago and I already get wrong inputs.

Yeah they are totally changing her in 4.5? Saw a twitter post talking about it.

Probably just need to clean dust out of the microswitches for the JLF’s PCB assembly if you’re getting weird inputs. Also if it was so bad that even that wasn’t working, that would be the part you’d most likely want to replace instead of getting a whole new JLF. They should last for years as long as you take care of them.

My AAs still go right through his body though. Played some Platinum Abigail earlier who kept jumping in with HK and all I could do is watch it beating my st.LK clean and my b.HK whiffing completely (as Chun).

Considering his rank and his 60% win ratio I’m not the only one at a loss on how to AA that thing with some characters. I hate how you have to visualize his messed up hurtbox before your eyes to be able to beat him. Such a badly designed character.

It’s like fighting Gief with a more shallow jump. s.HK is your farthest ranged anti air and he’s just big enough that you can use it to stop his neutral and his jumps at the same time. Main reason Chun’s anti air is wonky is her s.HK (which can cover the dead spot of b+HK/s.LK) is only good vs slow/big characters and Abi happens to be one of them

If your reactions are quick enough should be pretty doable on reaction. Even if you’re a bit late can still trade sometimes any way and pushes him away.

Punk basically keeps fireball on screen and forces him into positions where he can’t jump without getting reaction s.HK AA’d. Then also uses it in neutral to preemptively keep him from jumping.
