Akumas and cammys AA are very annoying, but the thing that really puts akuma over the top at lower levels and even in higher levels when used sporadically, is the air fireball jumpin. Sure, use it hyper predictably and it’s easy to stop. But switch it up just a little bit and it becomes really difficult to deal with and for me the same goes for all the jump arc changing moves. Akumas is just the safest for the most damage.

In regards to the leaks, I have to say I’m kinda sad how Season 4 is going at the moment - no Season Pass announced (so we don’t know whether there’ll be any more characters or how many will there be), no approximate dates for when they’ll share more details (just the classic “stay tuned!” crap), and the only “leak” we’ve had came from 4chan of all places and, well, now was proved to be bullshit, while X-kira keeps claiming stupid shit. Not to mention that apparently Flowtron lost access to his sources, so even he doesn’t know what’s happening in 2019 as far as SFV character releases go, and we’re going in completely blind
Compare this situation to the pre-S2 or pre-S3 period - we’ve had like 4 or 5 different leaks and you had no idea which one would be the real one.
It really makes you think all kinds of stuff - maybe there’re still finalizing the list out of already finished models, maybe they’re gonna have more characters this season than usual (say, 8 instead of 6), maybe the Real Season 4 will only begin later, maybe they’re preparing for the eventual F2P version, maybe the game itself is just gearing down as the new generation is approaching so maybe this is actually the last season of DLC and CPT before SF6 is out
Nobody knows, really, and it kinda sucks to be in the dark as far as fighting games go

Basically, I kinda have to agree with Max and Vesper here that Season 4’s launch felt… incomplete? As in there’s actually more stuff to come and Kage is just filler for us to tinker with until the Season 4.5 patch and when the tournaments start happening every week again
It doesn’t help that CapCup 2018 was in a much smaller venue, then Ono just kinda came out and said “hey see you next year, oh btw Kage and Season 4 patch are out, y’all can go home now”. Felt very uncelebratory

S3 was just a rare season where they actually had everything together at the time they were ready to announce it. Obviously once G and Sagat were revealed way before normal they had blown their load for a long while. Had to see that coming.
