Why can’t you upload replays straight to YouTube? PS4 has the upload function but afaik PC has no streamlined equivalent. I’m trying to upload now and it’s taking forever compared to PS4 on the same Internet connection…

It’s a little inconsistent…

He looking for a new zoner?

Is Guile really that bad now ?

IDK, if he wants zoning, i guess even Ryu and Sagat are better choices.

Boom pressure if nerfed from what i remember. It will definitely effect Du’s corner game.

I know Daigos been streaming a lot of VT2 Ryu as well. Ume counters and shit.

His Zeku is pretty basic. Very rarely switches forms and just plays old Zeku as a zoner which is not very optimal.

Looks like it. I saw him use VT2 against a Rashid player to great effect. He played it like F2, Hadoken XX SRK. it was pretty effective.

Daigo playing Old Zeku like a shoto is just godlike. I think he landed one combo of more than two hits in that entire set.

Maybe that’s just his approach to learning the character. Get to the point where you feel comfortable playing Old 100% of the time and then learn Young. Probably no harm in knowing the ins and outs of a form that other players just use for flip setups and bonus corner damage.

No guys, daigo already learned young, he started out using young. Now he’s using old. Once he learns old he might learn stance switching.

It really feels like daigo might make zeku one of his characters. He usually won5 stick with a character this long as an experiment.

The only tear list that matters.
Happy new year you fucks.

Against that Rashid it looked really effective. But I think Zeku struggles against Blanka. His air trajectory was a problem in the match I watched.

Happy new year, nerds!

I find it extremely interesting the way Lord Umejuarez approach new characters.

I saw a little bit of his Young. Young isn’t that hard to play really but his Young looked rough. Young just doesn’t fit his play style so he’d just have to do his best to fit Daigo into Young.

The zoning Daigo is doing with O.Zeku is not sustainable for long term CPT play. It won’t last vs top level Rashid like Oil King and Gachikun. The grams are like very committal Marvel beams and carry big risk to actually zone. More than shoto fireballs.

Every higher level Zeku I face barely bothers with O.Zeku anymore vs my Falke. Orangeman, Wolfkrone, Denzere, they all usually just immediately switch to Y.Zeku before the timer hits 90. Orangeman is probably the only one that can hang on with O.Zeku for a bit, but he beats me with Y.Zeku regardless.

Even Angry Bird mostly played Y.Zeku vs Abi who is a slower big body.

I guess Nintendo is wishing me a Happy New Year 'cause this just arrived today :3

Nice Thing

Happy New Year to the rest of you fine people as well~

I’m looking to do some casuals with some fine gentlemen. I haven’t played against a lot of you guys. I’m a Sim main, currently in UD Master derank hell. Rank is raising my blood pressure too much. Not a good way to bring in the new year.

I need a new router for 2019. I want to play some Alex.

Here in Europe it’s already 2019, you retrograde Americans are always late at adopting new stuff!
When are you ever going to catch up?

By the way, happy new year!

None of that means anything because none of the people using zeku previously… were daigo.

Ofc playing him all young or all old isn’t optimal. But daigo is actually learning zeku the way I did at first. Learn one, then the other, then hopefull be able to put them together. There are matchups where you want to switch, matchups where you want to go old, matchups where you want to go young. It’s a lot of shit to learn.

My latest theory style was lots of stance switching and using non confirm pokestrings with old man into switch or hk koku or flip

Worked surprisingly well save for when my opponents were like… man fuck this and just ran away.

Sf5 is like science. You hypothesize, experiment, record results, keep the good get rid of the bad and remember any happy accidents that happened along the way. They don’t call training mode “the lab” for nothing.

Daigos lab is his opponents lifebar.

His young looked fine. Beating the crap out of people with nothing but st.hp.

I’m also glad to see him realize the usefulness of vt2, though tbh he might just be experimenting.

I hate new year’s eve. Even though I know I won’t do shit, I feel bad from the pressure of doing my resolutions.
