yeah…just create a new steam account and use family sharing
Ok so talking about resets then some dude using akuma did an akuma bnb in the corner and instead of ending with a heavy tatsu he let me down and did a standing mp then threw me, is that a reset?
Sweet thanks!
Yeah kind of.
Usually you reset mid combo and put your opponent in a 50/50 mix up.
The hope is if your opponent falls for the mix up you have reset the combo meter for bigger damage.
Its risky but the pay off is big.
Games? Also fuck the character requirement for posts
Nah its just parody of Game of Thrones. Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen have like 20 titles each. Should of thrown in “Mobb Deep, first of his name, Owner of Door” but I thought it’d be a bit much.
Oh no I was responding to Phantom_Miria
“What’s the lore on Mobbdeep’s door” just sounded like it was the start of a song or something when I first read it
Ah okay, my bad fam.
Sweet baby Jesus finally done with that CPT challenge. Stuff kept coming up and I legit thought I wasn’t gonna be able to get back on Ranked to steal the 8 wins I needed to close the damn thing out.
Vhozite I would be up for games but my G still needs more work and I need a beer after playing ranked.
Also that CFN stats stuff people were posting before:
LP: 6142
Ranked Games: 658
Casual Games: 1293
Battle Lounge: 2467
I am a bitch that runs from ranked. Also looking at it I really haven’t played all that much. Need to get more games in.
Hey you have more ranked matches than I do
I missed your counts. That is pretty funny.
I’m sort of sad that Capcom killed how far back you can go on your replays. I had a couple saved from way back when I started the game and it was interesting to go back and watch some of those old matches.
On my 4 months old PS4 account I am at:
LP 5816
Ranked Games: 806
Casual games: 76
Battle Lounge: 501
But BL number is heavily inflated because I use it to do practise in artificial lag setting between PC account and PS4 account.
On the PC I am at:
LP 4863
Ranked Games: 4821
Casual games: 1530
Battle Lounge: 1636
I played a damn lot of games on PC. But I am clearly not a fan of casual matches.
Fireball game is important. Cammy wins in the normals department. Focua on the ground game, but only for split second intervals. Dont get too tunnel visioned on whiff punishing, maybe look for a whiffed normal for a few seconds if she gives you a good reason too. Otherwise, be ready with mp/hp dp depending on spacing.
You gotta be a bit more “proactive” in the sense that youre making more non reactive decisions like fireball/st.hk/dashing and all around poking.
Pay very close attention to her movement. Dont whiff bad buttons. Her walkspeed is fast so recognition of her movement patterns are important
So… I watch a lot of stand-up comedy. It’s maybe 2-3 times a week that something is genuinely funny and it’s maybe once a month that something really hits you hard where you immediately just burst out laughing.
I played a lot of SF4 online and also earlier SF games when they were first surfacing in PC emulators around 2002.
SF5 is kind of a harsh game, in that you have very limited safe options, and the neutral can be brutalizing with the crush counters, leading to a knock-down and follow-up offense, where they might EX reversal to get a footing but just eat another crush counter and finding themselves in even worse conditions than before.
So after fighting for their life for two rounds, but eating crush counters left and right, their character going dizzy and eating another full combo, using up all their resources and getting nothing in return, finally falling at your feet, some of them pull the plug. It was over before they even got a chance to play and have fun. They showed up only to get beaten to death, and their existence was no longer justified and a courtesy farewell was eclipsed by their traumatizing. They tried to play-fight and have a good time but you hit for real to the point that they couldn’t even see or walk straight back home.
So they disconnect before the game points out how horribly it went. This is when that familiar error sound is heard and it hits you like the hilarious punchline of a tremendously cruel joke. In fact it’s a little disappointing sometimes when peeps don’t disconnect when I’m sittin’ there waiting for the cue to laughter.
Similarly the same goes for Ryu’s v-trigger 2 parry. The opponent plays their game and all is going well, and suddenly their own punch lands on their own nose followed by an uppercut followed by a beam of karate fist plasma.
There you are, I was beginning to think you’d shit your pants.
I’m in the Jack Daniels bar at Dubai airport double gunning a pint and a jacks…and it’s 5am with ala achbar chant coming over the radio system.
I’ll make sure I’ve got at least one arm tied up when I play you, make it fair.
Yeah, that makes sense. Was getting a better handle on where her normals go as I played, so just gotta work on making that second nature while I scout for her going airborne.
So I guess to put it simply, “flowchart” the ground game more so it’s easier to kill her dive game? Shut that down and she can’t bully her way in so keeping her where you want is easier.
…really wish I had learned to DP anti-air, one-button anti-airs have really spoiled me
Shiiiit. They always complain about my dash game in the chat. Doesn’t matter who I am. Urien or ed or this character or that character.
I’ve found a way to make my dashes unseeable now. It was funny having them in the chat all like “im trying to react but I can’t like usual, Ed’s dash is so fast”
I’m like yep, sf5 baby. Them gold level Nemo/infiltration tactics.
One very obvious thing to be conscious of against Cammy isif you block any ranged cr.mk’s from her, look for her to divekick immediately after that. It’s a flowchart pattern many Cammys have. Probablysave thr punish for when you got full juice though, at least the first time.
It’s Twin’s tech. He’s playing on WiFi.
