I actually don’t remember the door stuff, but Mobderp’s origin story is basically this.
Initially seemingly normal occasional poster comes here and starts linking his videos which he says show amazing new resets, but are actually just wildly sub-optimal Alex combos that end in nothing.
This leads to massive wall of text exchanges between him and the community where he refuses to admit he doesn’t know what a reset is.
Meanwhile, it turns out that it’s actually pretty difficult to accurately explain resets in a post, so side wall-of-text flame wars break out between people who know what resets are, but disagree about how to explain them.
Basically a great time was had by all.

Basically, Mobbdeep showed up here once, posted some beginner stuff, and we just did the usual helpful posts with a side of trolling.
Soon afterwards, he graced us with a groundbreaking Alex Reset. He has long deleted the video, but if I recall, it was simply walking up in neutral, pressing st. LK and then command grab.
Naturally, we called out his bullshit, and many shitposts (all answered with “cool story bro” and reset vids happened.)

Reset:
Ending a combo early to attempt a mix up. Originated from Marvel Vs Capcom 2. Refers to prematurely stopping a combo to prevent the infinite prevention system from triggering and removing the character getting comboed.
Does not apply to mix ups gotten after ending a combo i.e. safe jumps after knockdowns et .
