Kolin has counters that do the damage of a command grab, a double jump, an overhead and a 3 frame so she’s dishonest. Cody is honest until he gets trigger so I’ll live with his 2 bar.

Ima keep this 100% real, before even playing sfv I was basically a hater, hated the fact that street fighter was the fgc game, hated that some people didn’t take nrs games as serious, but now that I’m into sfv I really dig it, but I’ve seen a trend with this game as opposed to every other fighter out there, so I gotta ask, why do a lot of the fgc players bash on this game but they always end up coming back and it’s always the game with most entrants? So my question is, why is sfv so frustrating but at the same time so popular?
Can’t speak for anyone else, but for me I came back because I enjoy playing and talking about the game with people here. It’s a social thing for me. I don’t have locals to go to our anyone irl to play fighters with, and people here don’t play much else besides SFV.
Expanding on that, it also has the largest player base. I tend to play at off peak times due to my schedule so having people to play with at all hours is a must for me. For example I love Skullgirls but that game is unfortunately a ghost town.
Edit: One other thing is that I got over the game not being my ideal SF experience. SFV is its own thing and even if not perfect for me it’s fine. I realized people (myself included) looked hella dumb still complaining about the game in 2018 despite playing for 2/3 years. Now I just try to keep it mostly positive vibes.

So I decided to watch the replays because… seriously.
First match pertho gets fucking owned, mob has some decent flowchart shit. I really liked the side switch into committal cr.mk xx whatever he did… most Laura’s just go for the command grab or st.mp there. But not mobb… dis nigga on another level.
Ok so watch some more matches. Pertho perfect sees mobbs flowchart which basically consists of, and I kid you not, first time he gets in at he start of a round he does cancel into over head. After that he does literally nothing but forward v skill into command grab. Watched pertho neutral jump punish that shit like 10 times.
Lmfao, that shit was about as funny as you’d expect a mobb game to go… I don’t think he even knew what character pertho was using. He was literally in his own world doing mobb deep things.
But this is sf5. He’ll be diamond in a month if he plays enough.

That’s low end. I’d be similar, less ranked ( 500 or so for Diamond) maybe more lounge than you, I’m guessing 3-4 thousand.
It’s normal to see dudes on 10-20 thousand matches.

His account says 15k matches… which is weird cause this nigga had like 10-15k matches 2 years ago. So then I looked up games with his characters. Of 15.5k matches, 15.3k were kolin. Dis negro found a way to reset his stats or someshit. But I ain’t hating. It might be a global stat reset or something since I couldn’t find my 600 ranked matches from years ago either.
Ed is looking pretty dope. A lot of latent power in his moveset. I just figured out something really obvious to which should help out my ranged pokestrings and pressure a lot.
