Oh that stomp kick is a KOF/anime style standing low. It has 6 active frames so you have to be careful about challenging it on oki if she gets a good enough oki scenario. They buffed it to plus 3 on block now so she can trap 3 framers with it also. Best thing to do that most people dont do is just v reversal or backdash away after blocking if she abuses it. She cant cancel it so its a free v reversal.
Yeah its not exaxctly optimal or ideal to play Chun as rush but its what you have to do for that match. I fight against Naga Siren regularly and thats how he wins. Once Chun gets Falke in the corner you basically win the match since she can just OS light her reversal down. Its just if you dont get to close the gap quickly its obviously rough
I honestly think at this point that if chun ever gets into the big leagues or becomes relevant, the chun user will have to have:
Stomp xx legs
Ch fmp> ex legs
Cr.mk confirm into ex legs
And forward walk into instant neutral iall.
Those are all exceptionally demanding SITUATIONAL execution, so chun will probably never be played at her most optimal since all that stuff even if the player could do all of it 100% of the time, she would still only be high tier, not S tier, and who in the hell wants to deal with situational execution like that with such little reward. Even sako wanted nothing to do with it, which is telling.
