Not trying to be mean here, but @Cipher is right, people shit on the games in other forums all the time. On ye olde dustloop BB got shit constantly. Mostly from GG players, but from some SF guys too. Smash boards and TYM are the same.
I’m more amazed at how many of you engage with Cipher on the subjective stuff, rather than other grounds. You are never going to “prove” he’s wrong to dislike SFV…
He doesn’t deserve to be banned because he has done nothing wrong. That seems like a whiny position to take to me anyways.

What can you do? Obviously whatever games they claim to like must be trash if they hate SFV SOOO much yet post in the SFV section of the forum. If somebody wants to emulate Twitch chat, chuckle at how pathetic they are and go to the next relevant post.

I hate Cipher but to be 100% fair he has been chilling the last few days and I appreciate it. He made one anti-SFV comment and it really wasn’t that bad compared to his normal shit.
I play a charater that has atleast 2 really good tools to punish fireballs from any point of the screen, both of these are completely useless against him unless you commit to a read since he recover fast enough to block them.
What’s worse is that he doesn’t really need to use his booms since he got an amazing offense
No one mentioned banning him from SRK. But we have no ignore feature in the new forum. The powers that be should offer its userbase solutions.
Maybe give him a timeout from this sub-forum until then.

You’re saying ban him but you’re interacting with him, giving him a reason to come back. Stop giving him a reason to come back, problem solved. Words on a screen shouldn’t impact you or force your hand to reply. Have some damn self control.

I play Juri, they nerfed his target combos that no one was using, nerfed sobat a bit and added 2 frames to his fireballs.
His insane buttons and walkspeed are still there and his offensive is still better than characters that are rushdown oriented
I understand, but to me it didn’t feel like what complaints about it were as strong as what I see with 5.
My only explanation other than
-SFV gets way more shit because the things people hate are part of the core gameplay and can’t be just fixed without fundamentally changing the game-
Is that I did not like SFIV so I noticed the complaints less while I liked SFV so I motice them more.
They didn’t nerf Sobat “a bit”, it got completely gutted.
