Decap would be cool, a Twin doll with a tag element would be neat too. Would be a fun way to make use of the v-system. So you have stance switches that tag a character in and out, and your VT brings them both in to make their pressure insane.

I like that idea, you could put one of the less complete dolls in VT.
It does occur to me that a strike against decapre is that her ultra got stolen by Ed for his VT1.
Getting a doll next would make sense.
They don’t really have to pour in a lot of resources to make it happen and it is quite clear that they are going frugal with costs for S4 so far.
I’d also find hilarity in Final Round being the place where a doll gets announced across two games, to the audiences’ dismay.

I feel like the only person who actually wants one of the dolls as a new character.
If niggas are ok with 4+ shotos then I don’t want to hear Capcom getting any shit about another one of the dolls, especially if it’s one of the ones who have never been playable.

A doll is cool, I think people didn’t take Decapre’s reveal too well because she was like literally just a Cammy rip and everyone expected something fresh.
Dolls are cool, I’d be fine with one. As long as the dolls super included every doll in a cool cinematic.

That and Capcom said outright many times that it wasn’t a doll… I know that made me roll my eyes a bit.
I thought the decapre reveal went over okay. She looks liked Cammy, but she was a very original character gameplay-wise.

I just rewatched, and only at the beginning, which was my reaction too to be fair.
I am in the Makoto camp, she’s clearly has an audience, of course Fei Long, T.Hawk and Honda should get consideration aswell.
As for new character, once again F.A.N.G’s apprentice, very cool, go on get.
This is clearly wishful thinking, based on fuck all.
Though I really think Makoto is a lock.

This is right here is what confuses me about the whole thing. Like in a world where people were happy to have quite literally every spin-off of Ryu imaginable, a character that had only a passing aesthetic resemblance to Cammy was a problem?
Like I remember asking Jin about this and he was telling me she was obnoxious to fight, which is a perfectly valid reason to hate her. But hating her on reveal just seems like a hyper overreaction from the community.
GG players don’t like aspects of GG, it’s not perfect unless you’re an outsider looking in at all of the cool shit without understanding of it.
I’ve seen plenty of complaints about the YRC system and the balance patches making some characters mad dumb - Ky, Johnny etc.
Got it’s own gameplay issues, but obviously SFV is a black sheep and must be punished for it’s crimes.
