Cammy carries shit players so fucking bad in this game it’s honestly disgusting on a spiritual level.
I was watching Kaymin playing and he was getting mad because he was running into Cammy’s doing the most raggo horse shit and getting blown up by it. It’s fucking hard to explain why Cammy gets away with so much though because it feels like it just works because fuck you I’m Cammy.
Also to all you fucking Cammy players (you know who you are) that bullshit where you get hooligan after cr.MP or st.MP is not footsies that negative edge!!! You are getting + on block dive kicks for free at close range because you guys are mashing!!! I know because I played Cammy for a YEAR!!!
I love how easy SFV is because of Kolins VT2. One of my biggest weaknesses during season 1 was dashing in with Cammy but VT2 is like 5x’s faster than Cammy so I can just bulldoze my way in. Plus having an easy mode V-Skill that just eats up basically everything is fun. All I have to do is press two buttons with no thought and get easy mode counters.
God it feels good not having to worry about jump ins.
Kolin’s AA minus certain dive/air fireball characters is pretty cheap. Cheaper than any of the AA jab stuff people complained about. She has AA that basically carries you towards the corner if it counter hits for no meter and 2 button presses.
She technically still has an AA jab for early AA/empty jumps too. Which since she has counters and V Skill for AA you will definitely end up empty jumping.
Vskill is only really great for terrible jumps anyways. So it’s kinda a shrug in a lot of matchups.
It’s great vs a few characters though such as gief and Falke.
As mentioned Kolin has a very stable cHP and the AA parry as an option too. The only thing that irks me is that sometime cHP produces that shitty SFV scramble situation.
I refuse to believe that Cammy is a character someone can pick up and get carried at high level. Not even high level actually, I’ll say Plat and above.
