That’s the only issue for for is that I can’t buy the game.
I have a desktop computer at home but it’s just a normal work computer. I’m guessing mvc2 would be too hectic to run stable.
All you can really do is download an emulator (one with netplay functionality preferably, such as demul) and go into discord servers asking for games. Quite unfortunate.

While it is true that Kolin is way more fair than your usual suspects she still has hurtboxes that disappear magically, she still has a jab AA for some fucking reason. Her VT2 is pretty fucking good and her v-skill is slightly on the wrong side of retarded.
Plus she’s ugly.
Kolin can only BS you in vt2, she’s fair as fuck otherwise.

I think the Battle of the Strongest and the reputation of the game helps a ton with getting people to even just sit down and try the game. Myself and a few others love this game immensely so we try to help everyone catch up. A feeling for a fighting game I haven’t felt in a long time. Here’s to hoping mvc2 is here to stay

No. Kolin is a mostly straightforward honest character outside of VT2. The most silly thing she has outside of VT is probably sLK>EX Hands.
VT2 is degenerate as hell though.

Well you’re not really disagreeing with me by saying that since I didn’t really say a stance on forced exciting. Just that it’s how the game is designed (as was Marvel 3 and older versions of SFIV).
I don’t really have an issue with it since most of the games I’ve played have had that type of gameplay or characters that were generally capable of forcing the issue of the whole match at any point. Then the hype is more around slowing that down which is what a lot of the top 8 of Evo Japan was centered around.
Overall though the game’s neutral and pace plays closer to 3S or ST where rounds can end really fast and it’s more so the player’s job to extend them. Like 3S and Alpha because the oki situations are very fast the characters are usually on their feet and moving longer which is also the pace I prefer SF to be at.
Forced exciting stuff isn’t always the best thing to base a fighting game or any game around competitively, but it does keep base type viewers from falling asleep and since the game does gain a lot of views it likely works from a business standpoint regardless.

Bison still has a cr.LP. I get your point but her AA jab isn’t really that great in tense moments.

Depends on who your using against kolin. That matchups sucks with kage.
Btw am I the only one who plays kage? Looks like people have forgotten about the character barely two months in. We are crying out for new chars but is that char going to get the kage treatment too?

She beats a few characters pretty bad, and Kage is… well Kage.
I generally agree with @Twinblades assessment, except I would put her in lower high tier on the strength of VT2 being one of, if not the best VT in the game.
Without her VT2, she very average.
I hope this is not a post in jest because aquaman mirror matches are actually one of the best part of injustice series cause the spirit of E.Honda watches over it with the billion trident slaps.

I agree and also like the general pace of SFV. I would argue there is a pronounced difference between the forced excitement of something like CC or VT in this game, and the stuff in a game like 3S (eg parry)
E.Honda will never be in SFV (and that’s a good thing)
