SFV is still a better situation than other current FGs as a package not just basing SFV when it was in the vanila stage before S1.
SFv launch was undeniably disasterous, but as S3 went on it was in a better place than what other modern FG has.
MK couldn’t cover things that an SF title can achieve. The only thing that was relevant to those areas were Tekken and KOF, but Tekken is a different gaming experience and SNK is kinda restrictive to their development resources.
A prime example is Ono just recently posted up a tweet of him in the hospital (Hope he gets better of course) that let us know why he was there and said “sorry I wouldn’t be in communication for a few days” and had to take 2 days off of work…and how he’s super connected to his work.
That’s literally ALL you have to do with SF5, he pulls it off with his personal life all the time

In that case its even more of a reason why her redesign is factually bad, she was already one of the most unique characters in SF4, and in SFV she plays less unique and is just boring, her redesigned moveset also feels rushed af.
Then again it all comes down to Capcom’s bad decision to make everyone more streamlined and be limited to only rushdown gameplay pretty much

What other game takes away all the ingame currency income to make sure you have to spend RL money to get new stuff.

SFV sure is a prime example of modern Fighting Games and everyone should follow their lead.

Capcom isn’t the FGC trendsetter anymore or the most ideal example to be that standard in mode and content. Seems okay if they would release something satisfying afterwards like MK11 did, Agree with rather than teasing so much but the negativity of SF.
Yet Im just pointing out that SFV content is still in a favorable situation in the masses than any other current modern FG titles in the mainstream fail.
Yes, they can. Season 3 was handled extremely well, from the initial announcement up until the release of the last two characters right after showing them et EVO.
S4 in comparison feels like a toddler’s first marketing plan. I don’t need drip-feeding, I’d even be okay if we only got a character every three months but then they should communicate as such. Saying absolutely nothing for almost two months about a game that’s supposed to be alive and well in the eSports circuit is not how you handle a brand in 2019. There are indie studios out there doing a better PR job than Capcom.
Not only that they set there own precedence last season which was a nice recovery from the short coming of the initial release only to turn around and do pretty much what they did season one… But slightly worse because it’s even LESS information for the consumer.

When you’re a paying customer you’re allowed to complain. Expecially if they want to have their game as a “live service” I feel more than justified in complaining about the lack there of.
I don’t really care about SFV anynore now that I found that I am able to play a game I enjoy way more, and still I can’t help but feel annoyed at the lack of news. It would be better to have a feeling of anticipation for something to come, and nothing Capcom said gives me that.
They are handling season 4 poorly in my anf many others opinion, and we are all allowed to voice our disappointment since we paid for the damn thing.

Also I feel like after Tekken Tag I’ve played two characters around the same level pretty easily(Bryan/Lars) and even added a third with Noctis. You’re playing way too many though. Gotta narrow that down and stick with something.
When I felt like I was plateauing, working on my overall game plan and strengthening my mixups help me move past it. My defense and movement were always good, my offense was lacking.

Yeah, I need to cut down on the alts. Either I need to decide on a dedicated secondary, or I should just play Leo straight up. I think the latter is what I should do, though I’m intending on trying Julia when she drops, like how I invested some time in Marduk (and found out he wasn’t for me).
My defense is atrocious though. I need to utilize more options than just trying to backdash out, jabbing at random times or guess-ducking. My movement is okay, but suffers from the problem that being able to kbd well isn’t the same as having good movement.

The limit is probably there as a safeguard against the server getting overwhelmed by automated shenanigans.
