So new shitshow a brewing. Apparently KoF’s brackets at evo japan massively rigged to fuck over korean players. All korean players basically had to play each other from the start, and on check in if the korean players were on on station they were dq’ed in 5 seconds after callout, while japanese players got over 30 minutes.

Yooo Storm vs Jyobin was wild. Definitely using those early jump tactics to bait the Abi parries.
Abi’s s.HP is still not whiff punishable apparently. Even if you did whiff punish it most characters are gonna get shit damage/oki from the whiff punish any way.

Pros prefer Ed VT1 because even though by every metric it’s a worse VT…honestly, for some reason it just feels better.
Plus you’ve never despaired until you’ve landed VT2 through a FB (one of its INTENDED purposes) and then even with the buffed c.MP xx Psycho Upper cancel the shit still whiffs and you die because of it.

I wouldn’t be jumping too hard on blanks, he’s good, but you need to know that match like the back of your hand not to make it look broken.

More characters got better to slow down Blanka’s power upgrade, but he’s at minimum a solid problem.
Blanka was probably the best season 3 character and he got some nice buffs. He could easily be top 15 right now. He sort of reminds me of an Abigail type character, lots of options to confuse the opponent even though most are unsafe. A player like Nishikin with good reads could take him far.
