You had robo chun in 3s and 2 button DTN winning evo 2k4 with nightmare… fuck it. Shit was dope. 3B all day everyday and when that stops working, 6A. Bam, throw in some liberal 66B and you got a top 8 nightmare.

Characters with ling weapons and range usually start out good, then start to get wrecked as time goes on from what ive seen. In sc2 the top was iirc in no order, cass, xianghua, yoshi, taki etc etc.

Asta/kilik/nightmare tended to really become parry fodder because so much of their moveset was parryable on reaction. ESPECIALLY kilik. With him you really had to try to abuse his kick moves because the rest of his shit was so slow.
