SFV lounge: London we have a Problem X. SFV gave us the Burger King again

When’s the next tournament I wanna see what bonchan can do with sagat

I will suggest points loss even in Casual and Lounge matches, I’m tired about these ‘In my feelings’ kind of players.

I don’t think i took anything back.

Anyone else confused by anything i said? Or is it like meaties, and Pertho just doesn’t understand simple concepts.

The match we’ve been waiting for

The 1st day in ultra gold went fine. Dipped into super gold a couple of times but recovered fast enough. Turns out my execution can’t stop me from ranking up just yet.
Bison’s wake up animation is annoying. It’s so slow i can’t manually meaty it. Always get it too early or too late. I need the power of training mode.
Made a Sagat ragequit on VS screen by flying over his shots two matches straight. I felt it was gonna happen in the last round but the King’s got some honor. I think i’ll be ok in this matchup.

So G can make his VT or Presidential Dash Punches safe cancelling them with the fireball on block. Instead cancelling them with the G kick beats crouching 3f buttons, but losses against 3f/4f standing normals, trades against 5f/6f standing normals and beats 7f + ones. In general people use their shorts for interruptions, so better get up after blocking possible G Under.

G seems like he will be TT, he’s like Balrog when he came out. Just does what he likes no consequences. I bet you somebody like xian will play G.

I just can’t see G being top tier, hanging with the current top characters without some capacity to cheese his way out of a tight spot. All he has is V-Reversal otherwise he gets abused. Also, whilst his light buffers got to be some of the best in the game, I do think he’ll have trouble against superior medium buttons being put in his face, for example someone like Guile.

No consequences, excuse me have you PLAYED the character? He only gets to play like that when in VT1 and even then it’s not to the extreme like SF5 Rog at his best where he just won the round instantaneously if he touched you unless you got lucky.

Otherwise you’re generally playing a weak character for a lot of the match unless the opponent just lets you get stores for free. Your defense, patience and precision has to be perfect until VT1 is ready.

Nemo is playing him already and the others pros need to be worried. The damage/stun output of G is just insane and the setups scary af. The defense could be a problem, but stopping his momentum isn’t easy. It’s already tournament viable imo and charging his Presidentiality isn’t problematic at all, if everything fails G can use VT1 and do his things. He’s scary, atm with Zeku I felt forced to rush him down like there’s no tomorrow before he does.

I disagree, stopping is momentum is quite easy as long as he isn’t on Level 3, and if you’re playing properly, he shouldn’t be in most cases. You feel forced to rush him down yes…but let’s not pretend like it’s such a terrible thing when his defense is relatively atrocious and is a rushdown character’s wet dream to fight against.

Yes, on VT1 or Level 3, he can be an absolute nightmare. But I swear everyone is completely overreacting to how scary that makes him overall. We’ve had far scarier VTs to deal with, that were attached to much better characters before the activation.

You only really need one presidentiality level to get started. After that you basically decide whether or not you want to get the second one.

His projectile is a lot better than I anticipated though. His command grab leads to silly damage. All in all a better grappler than Zangief.
