SFV lounge: London we have a Problem X. SFV gave us the Burger King again

I don’t quite agree that what is being pushed is that we are dead equal, more like that we women want rights that are more on par with men.

But women and men are different in behaviour and mentality. It is all about knowing to read the other person as you said.
Most women are okay with being ogled, cosplayers in skimpy clothing would be fine with hugs/taking funny pictures/getting touched for said funny pictures if asked for (in a proper manner! Being well spoken is a hit with the ladies) and so on. But it all comes down to consent, whether spoken or through very clear visual clues.

Women are far more wary of being touched without consent or at an environment where such thing wouldn’t normally transpire, because we know from either being taught or from experience that it usually ends up bad for us.
Being pinched in the butt by a stranger in a bar where everyone is festive and looking for action and being pinched by a stranger in a convention/tournament are two very different things. Someone who does such in the later setting is clearly a dangerous person and you are better off making distance between you and said person.

Women should have the same rights as men and mostly do. There are some rights men don’t get that women do and vice versa though, it’s just part of being different.

I think where it’s falling down is that people are looking for equality without effort or skill and also without reason.

Why are there no women Diesel mechanics in this yard! They shout, without taking the time to realise that many women don’t actually want to become Diesel mechanics. Yet now that car yards CEO says we need to be equal…because reasons. So that company now goes on a massive search for the 3 woman diesel mechanics in the county , while there’s 20 of the best guys sitting wondering why they can’t get a job.

I mean you either believe that women are better at men at some skills or we just blow the doors off the word skill and make it a dead set 50/50 in any job and it doesn’t actually matter if you’re good at anything.

Imagine a hospital announced that next year there had to be a 50/50 male female split of brain surgeons regardless of quality.

Seems unrealistic, yet that’s exactly my company’s current goal.

Wonder how North Korea handles this stuff if even South Korea’s still in the Divorce Dark Ages.

And you know what? She used that pic often for ambiguous jokes involving thirst. Some girls knows exactly what’s going on inside of a man’s mind and act tough to please the fans. Then someone will try to pinch your butt and we know how it goes. Remember that cosplayer who goes at a club dressed like Kolin after the latter reveal? After being groped by someone she said the guy should have at least asking for because she knows she has a nice butt. Then she goes full SJW saying these things are unacceptable. I mean, some girls gets recognition or jobs because of how good looking they are,but they play dumb about being a too much flirting sometimes. The videogames community is well open to everyone, gender, race or disabilities aren’t a problem, but some guys are uneducated about differences, so if you don’t do nothing to stop fans from being thirsty don’t be surprised if someone will be that stupid to cross that thin line.

Feminism is about equality.

Equality of outcome, not equality of opportunity.

These are not the same things. Me and daigo can have an outcome that is equal if daigo is supremely handicapped. That is equality of outcome… or basically handicapping the rest of the field so that one group can compete with another.

Equality of opportunity makes no such considerations. All equality of opportunity says is that everyone gets a chance. If you suck or you aren’t good enough… tough luck.

Having either of these kinds of equality is tough, but equality of one kind isn’t actually equal at all, and equality of the other kind also isn’t equal. This is where fairness and what is fair and what is right and what is moral comes in. Me personally I think there should be some amount of consideration for those that just suck/ people more helped by equality of outcome…but not that much.

Well, this is affecting other Korean guys (NL and Verloren) too, as expected.

Yes, I’m pretty sure she’s aware of whom she’s attracting. Her instagram is either food or boobs for the most part. She still manages to stay classy though unlike some T&A cosplayers like that Nigri brat.

It’s messed up that other players have to actively defend themselves for being in the same community as Infil. I was hoping they’d all be able to “No comment” through the storm

Speaking of South Korea: I guess Laugh is now having the last laugh.

Haha.

To be fair, this doesn’t seem like a bad rule to me. In fact it seems like the type of rule that the western society’s could do with.

Don’t say shit til the guy/girl get’s sorted by the authorities. Seems perfectly reasonable, since what I said up there is still true. No matter if he’s innocent or guilty, he’s finished now. Dead set done.

How many people are losing their jobs/family’s/careers because these whistle blowers can’t wait to get their 5 minutes of fame. Not defending wife beaters, that would be ridiculous, but when a women shouts rape and it turns out the man is innocent, 99 times out of a hundred it’s too late.

I seem like I’m picking on women here, but the equal is also true of men, nobody should be using social media to try and get someone arrested.

We’ll finally be able to see Gootecks and ShinAkuma666 winning the tournament offstream.

We will get info from Panda Gaming really soon.
I think that wife beaters should be punished without mercy. I also think that if you lie about stuff like this, you should be severely punished.
As for the social media…well, that is the world we live in.
I checked Infil’s twitter and people are smelling blood. It is a bit strange that he is pretending that nothing happened…maybe he was advised to do so.

James Chen apologized for his tweets. Mistakes happen, good thing he recognized it.

Alright, this pool match from EGX is the weirdest thing. Falke player beats Menat player, then Menat player switches to Gief who’s probably Falke’s easiest matchup by a mile.

Like, uhm, what? Reverse-counterpick?

Spoiler alert: Falke won.

I assume that was a Gief main who tried to avoid a bad matchup, but his counterpick was not good enough.

It’s fun, I’m seeing a lot of the usual Europe online warriors on stream.

Guess so but Gief against Falke is just awful for Gief. He could’ve probably done better by just learning Balrog on the fly.

Or picking a day zero Bison and just pressing buttons.
Falke against Gief is really rough for poor Gief.
