SFV lounge: London we have a Problem X. SFV gave us the Burger King again

My theory is this - most of Sagats best normals are standing buttons - st.mk ,st.lk, st.lp, st.hk but in general Sagat wants to crouch down to shrink his hurt box and DP from crouch. This leaves you with a double edge sword - do I stand and poke to keep you back or do I low tiger?

In SF4 he didn’t have this problem as bad, cr.mk was better and could be FADCd into bigger damage.

One buff then for sagat is to make his cr.mk start up respectable. 10 frames is a practical joke. At least make it 8.

Also Ken’s j.fierce is pretty damn good.

Bonchan seems to think Sagat is fairly weak right now. :frowning:
Also, let me commend him on his professionalism for finding ways to put his sponsor on the spotlight through the interview.
Red Bull made a really good investment on hiring him.

So, Infil is a piece of shit?
Fgc drama incoming. Hope it’s not true. Those transcripts are rough.

What did he say or do?

I love Sagat and I love Sagat being high or top tier. Reminds me of good times. Hopefully he gets the buffs he deserves.

His ex-wife recorded audio of him abusing her. Getting a divorce in South Korea is super hard, so she needed a mountain of evidence to do it.

The transcripts are fucking crazy.

Reason why it wasn’t public earlier.

Apologies for the double post but.

I assume Bonchan is pretty honest with his opinion, but TBF I wouldn’t blame anyone for just not saying he is good just because that obviously facilitates buffs better than saying he is solid. Nothing good comes out of saying a character solid/strong in CPT climate so might as well. Cammy players whine about Abigail being too strong for a reason.

Unbelievable.

Jist of Bonchan interview is he likes that Sagat has solid defensive options for this game and zoning, but doesn’t have the offense to swing things around vs characters he can’t viably zone to win vs. Which I believe is where Falke is similarly except it’s arguable her offense is a bit better due to having strong heavies that can’t be ducked and convert into full combos. Plus her jumping up in the air is its own mix up, whereas Sagat jumping is a free anti air for the opponent.

He said a lot of things need to be fixed for Sagat, but the only point he verballly mentioned (assuming most important) is fixing tiger knees. Says they are weak compared to IV (and I assume a big part of why he is underwhelmed with Sagat’s offense). He also says VT1 is bottom 3 triggers in the game, but VT2 is serviceable.

Infiltration told her “downroad comprete”.

Hope this isn’t as true as it sounds. Could be the end of Infiltration showing up at tournaments in any real capacity especially with all of the metoo stuff going on. If it’s physical abuse definitely hate stories of women being hit and physically hurt. You shouldn’t be beating up the people that bring life into the world (or anyone really). Unless your life is being threatened first it’s just not right and not worth it.

’ I beat you up like Infiltration did to his wife’ will become a thug phrase to use at tournaments. Sad story.

Noel Brown has mostly moved past his meme (and funny enough has the same last name as Chris Brown). Infil will get memed before the word really gets out. Tough times.

She took transcripts to a fucking court.

This has fuck all to do with any metoo nonsense. The issue right now is not knowing if he has any evidence disputing the veracity of the recordings.

If the person disclosing all of this is to be believed, then Infil is on his 2nd court case involving this. This is way past any hastag/twitter nonsense.

WTF, he was one of my favorite players. Can’t support him if this is true. Given how things are in South Korea, it’s looking like Infiltration is a piece of shit.

how exactly did you support him till now?
