Jeah I remember SC2 was my first Soul Cabibur game and Raph was notorious in casual circles as the “spammer” character. People didn’t know how to deal with the infamous “forward Y, Y, Y”.
Good times. People didn’t know how to gaurd impact. Since they changed that string in every subsequent Calibur game the scrub character stigma has pretty much died out with him. At least from my observations. I played a shit ton of SC4 and the most complained about seemed to be Kilik n Mitsurugi

Lol, i guess its hard for me to think on that level. Everyone i played against (including myself) could GI like there life depended on it. I remember raphs 6BBB just being another attack that was prett good. It was his fastish range that really made him annoying. Faster than night and asta, more range than X/taki/sophi etc. but not as fast as them and not as much range as asta and night/ivy. The only character i remember being supremly annoyed by was ivy, and that was almost totally because of her stupid op 2A.
That and turtles in general made the game kinda unfun. Very hard to open people up without some crazy high/low or nigh impossible to break command grab.
Rare steak is indeed bottom tier, but medium is top tier.
Well done is a wee bit too much but still better than rare.
If you prefer your steak rare I have no doubt your ass have eaten human flesh before.
Anyways… I didn’t know EGX was this weekend! That’s two premier events with TGS. Lots of SFV to watch.
