Just completely off-topic things Iā€™ve been thinking for season 4. Predominantly Cody adjustments to increase his overall consistency.

Akuma -
850/875 Health, 850/875 stun
Knockdown from regular fireball just outright removed, or only accessible from point blank range
VT1 consumption increased on DP by 10%

Cody -
Tornado Sweep recovery reduced by 2f(48 > 46)
LP Tornado Sweep projectile speed decreased
HP Tornado Sweep projectile speed increased
LK/MK/HK Ruffian Kick travel distanced increased
st.mp first hitbox increased/adjusted to better match later hitboxes(combo inconsistencies)
st.lk first hitbox increased/adjusted to better match later hitboxes(combo inconsistencies)
st.mk pushback on hit/block decreased
cr.lp +5 on hit
cr.mp given 1 more active frame for 4f active overall
VT1 cr.mp and cr.lp frame data reverted to non-VT versions, cr.mp given cancel property
VT2 command grab damage and stun reduced by 20, just frame window increased by 2f

man Sagatā€™s st.hk hitbox that hitā€™s crouching hurtboxes is so short, wish his st.hk were at SFIVā€™s strength

Dime says that should be nerfed and my V2. I donā€™t think he likes Sagatā€¦

That just basically means Sagat is decent. Dime has already proven heā€™s generally an impatient player which is rather rare for an oldschool player. People walking backwards and running away is a problem for him and Sagat is a typical set up the fort and fire away character that doesnā€™t let you jump much. He reminds me of whenever I run into Apocā€™s Chun online. OG Cali Chun player that has to hit buttons literally on every second of the round. Think Iā€™ve only not seen counter hit when I meatied him like 2 times in all of our rank matches.

I donā€™t think Akuma has the mobility to warrant being an 875 health/stun. Heā€™s just too fair to be that much of a glass cannon and I like that the game is getting away from overly low health/stun characters. Stupid concept to base characters around any way.

The other stuff I wouldnā€™t mind since I dont play Akuma, but I donā€™t know how youā€™d ever get an Akuma player to agree with any of that. Akuma and Cammy players fight to protect themselves.

Itā€™s funny cuz I was like ā€œwell someone should say that it requires effortā€. Then the person that used to usually do that shows up.

Yeah but letā€™s say you just make Akuma fair as fuck, it just ainā€™t really Akuma unless heā€™s cheap as shit but dies if you land 2 big hits on him. 875 isnā€™t really impactful enough, but if you kept 900 and just nerfed all of his shit to the ground, Iā€™d probably be more upset at that because Akuma would lose all of his dope stuff.

Fireball knockdown can piss off though.

Shit hawks like Guile are a way bigger problem.

You know when I think about it, this game without any V-trigger is probably amazing.

I donā€™t want Codyā€™s VT2 command grab to be nerfed just to make it easier to do the perfect one, that is a pretty dumb change.

If you wanna reduce the damage and stun then maybe increase the range on his command grab, making it easier doesnā€™t make a difference to the dedicated Cody players.

Just back home from a tournament here in Italy, I didnā€™t perform well. Playing into a location full of people with 95ĀŗF outside wasnā€™t fun at all, Iā€™ve lost to a Gief at the 2nd round and later in Losers vs Abigail. The latter makes me salty af, every time I had the chance to kill him I missed the the final blow thanks to his funny hitboxes and because Iā€™m still not totally used against Abigail, thatā€™s my fault. The winner was the best Italian player now, his Juri is sick. I thought I was the only one having issues against her f.dash after the fireball, but everyone had problems with that and her limbs. At the end of the day I had some sets on USF4 with a friend, Iā€™ve almost forgot everything, but the difference at react to jumps or dash was just embarrassing. I canā€™t imagine SFV with a lower input lag now, doing that can help with a bigger control over whatā€™s going on, but the risk to open up a can of worms is high.

P.S. Makoto still GDLK tho
