Funny how I’ve been having a lot of fun just going into the lab while random selecting the dummy. From there, it was all about learning what was +, understanding when it’s best to not bother contesting certain things during actual matches despite being -, and just becoming more comfortable with going up against certain tactics.
My usual way was learning through actual matches or replays, while randomly labbing certain stuff at times. This way is much more fun, though. The amount of things I learned just shows how behind I was in certain match-ups. Sure, raw knowledge is good, but enhancing that to a deeper level certainly doesn’t hurt. I’m not even done yet, as I still have most of the cast to go through. I just didn’t realize I’d end up enjoying this as much as I have.
Hope everyone is having a good day. I’m ready for some SCR.
It isn’t the difficulty that is hampering crossplay.
Sony refuses to allow crossplay between the PS4 version and other consoles. This is traditionally the attitude of whatever console controls the market. When Microsoft was in the lead with the Xbox 360, it opposed crossplay while Sony was open to the idea. Nintendo had also previously opposed crossplay, but publicly reversed course with the Switch.
Devs from multiple studios have said that this generation it has been Sony that has been blocking crossplay in their games. Microsoft and Nintendo have both made public statements supporting console crossplay, while Sony has publicly opposed console crossplay with multiple excuses.
The Fortnite situation was particularly aggressive, as at the time people didn’t even realize that linking their Epic account to play the PS4 version would prevent them from being able to use that account for other consoles. Where Sony’s most recent excuse was the dismissive “On cross-platform, our way of thinking is always that PlayStation is the best place to play”.
I’d say ken is a bit better than that, he’s as fast as Juri while hitting much harder without having to store a thing.
It’s just that there is no reason to pick him when Akuma is 3 times better than him (or than every character that isn’t top 5)
Its an alright list but i disagree with some of the placements here and there.
I feel like Necalli is way too high.
I always feel like Abigail, Rashid and Kolin are the 6th, 7th and 8th characters when it comes to tiers and you can argue which is which among these 3 places but to me, they clearly seem like the best bunch after the generally agreed on top 5.
I can see people adding Mika to the 3 as well and maybe argue from 6th to 9th.
Guile should be the king of well-rounded. Usually the area where he has trouble is attacking the opponent or taking the initiative if he loses the life lead but on SFV a V-skill LP Boom is more than enough to get an offense started so he lacks nothing. Nash is supposed to be the offensive Boom character yet he doesn’t have anything on par with that.
Once in a blue moon, during an eclipse and when the planets are properly aligned, Falke can do a corner combo that deals a ton of damage.
Outside that she is a death by thousand cuts sort of deal.
It’s dishonorable to give into cmd 50/50 gameplay, by not doing anything shows your opponent that you’re better than him and most of the time they’ll feel bad about usinga 50/50 character
Damn I missed Daigo being honorable vs command grabs. Daigo didn’t have to win. He just played to perform in a way that was satisfactory for him and he achieved that.
Her heavy buttons with meter can convert into solid damage. If you get hit by a heavy into super (when she has super) your life bar can be gone.
VT2 probably gives her access to her absolute highest damage, but it’s VT2.
