PC Tekken is thriving up to a point. I believe there are more veterans on PS4 than on PC, but the ranked’s very active up to red ranks. After that it’s quite barren (from what I’ve heard, I barely play ranked), but up to red ranks accounts for the vast majority of players after all.

That was probably just a handy excuse to not invest money in it, but that is the reason they gave for why they didn’t include crossplay.

capcom could make crossplay with sfv due to it being just pc-ps4 release. ki has crossplay due to pc-xbox.
having crossplay between 3 platforms is no easy task and barely any dev has implemented it so far and which is most likely the reason why mvci doesnt have it too.

Thing is that good Vegas, FANGs, and Nashes are a joy to watch. It’s unfortunate that the characters are sidelined in competitive play.

That is the nature of fighting games on pc. A weak, small and terrified playerbase that makes a lot of loud noises and acts like they are important, when in fact they are so minuscule its downright laughable!

Only things I’d change on that list are rashid next to necalli, birdie up 1 row, move ken to where rashid was, Abigail down 1 row, and Sakura below Cody/Falke but above the Alex row.
Peeps sleep too hard on ken, rashid is too damn busted to be same row as dhalsim or Kolin, and birdie is dumb as all hell. How he is so criminally underrated is beyond me.
Capcom literally doesn’t want Vega to be good. There is no explanation after multiple nerfs after multiple patches.

Honestly if you’re within the top 200 or so of people in ranked in Tekken you’re probably some sponsored player that has the privilege of regularly going to World Tour shit and playing offline any way. SFV definitely has a culture where even its top top players are regularly playing online, but some of them especially the ones in Japan or Korea arguably play online more as a luxury to face the few people that are too far away.
