Typical for SNK games itâll have a decent player base for a month and then die down to where only the hardcores are still in and have to request for matches. If the online is buggy thatâll happen a bit faster. If it came out in 2016 in a perfect scenario it might do better. 2018 fighting game competition is just too rough. There are going to be legit interesting games that just wont make it to Evo because of the climate now.

Pretty much what Jin said. Iâll add that, despite it being a lesser known franchise than KOF I think itâll sell way better, especially in the west. SNK botched KOF XIVâs release with horrible looking trailers and the online didnât even work for the first two months. Even with all that the game is still being played two years later.
SamSho already looks 1000 times better. I think it has big potential but I donât see it replacing SFV or anything lol.
