Not too hyped about that X-kira stuff. I love custom combos but at this point⌠is it really necessary? Weâre nearing the end of SFVâs lifespan and that seems like a drastic change of philosophy. To go from âback to basicsâ to CCâs and combo breakers half way through seems like a terrible idea. Iâd much rather they just save that stuff for SF6.
Iâm not meshing with any of the top tiers (Not counting guile as I havenât bought him).
Iâm gravitating towards Sakura, Balrog and Juri. Whatâs wrong with me? Lmao
Edit: Seriously, why doesnât Juri have an ex store that gives all three!?
So after getting my ass kicked for two hours by friends in battle lounges, I go ranked, face some unga Urien, beat him 4 rounds straight and reaction uppercutted him out of all his EX knee drops.
Satisfying as fuck. Now Iâmma grab a beer to celebrate.

Further proof that Ed is simply a very polished and working-as-intended character a measly 15 months after his release.
That said this is so situational that it probably neever happens. Mostly because the situation in which someone uses Ed never happens.
Cammyâs VT2 is fun when it works
Ed is a very free-form character.
Sometimes your combo works, sometimes it doesnât.
Sometimes the opponent gets glitched, maybe youâre in range for that normal to hit, maybe you can even follow up with flicker. Who knows really? Certainly not Capcom.
Also I think Iâm at my limit with Cody. Thereâs just not much there anymore.
Tried to make the knife work, it doesnât except for certain mus, but even then you have to work for it. Trigger 2 is still hilariously better if just for the âit works or it donâtâ factor.
Gonna focus on Sagat for a while. He has some fundamentals that just work better than the shotos, must be that 1f air invul DP and the fact that the DP has a bigger hitbox.
G is dumb, I like that Capcom put in a character whoâs good straight from the get-go, but heâs just the perfect marriage of online nightmare and all or nothing gameplay. Iâm sure it will get less egregious once people focus on whatâs important in the matchup tho.
Joined Mhike2stronk lobby today and almost beat his GM Gief with Falke. Went 3-2 and lost because of a bad spaced st mk.Then beat a lot of Giefs in the lobby later. 
I feel dirty for beating them like this.
Poor Gief struggles too much in S3.

Before falling asleep I saw Darklight losing against Nephewâs G, he will be even more pissed off about the President of the World.
Best thing is neutral jump and hit hk if you know sheâs planning for it. Come down on top of her hurt box with button and go into combo. Neutral j.mp into whatever you have to juggle her with works also. Basically itâs much less of a threat if youre in the air and the best punish options are air or jump in based.
